As many of you know our visas never permitted work. While many teenagers would have summer jobs our kids really never had this opportunity.

To boot, it has been difficult for her to create accounts in her own name since she does not have a US cell number or driver's license.

However, Alaithia, during her gap year, has been doing a lot of ministry.

This is an hour north of us on the Tejo River. We’ve had 3 tropical depressions in about two weeks. Lots of rain, roads closed and the authorities are asking people to avoid travel.

I think we’re getting your melted snow.

As many of you know, we’ve been making a more intentional effort to share the gospel — even with those we assume are probably already saved. This initiative is stirring up some commotion, whether due to our own actions or the influence of spiritual opposition.

I’m usually hesitant to say that the devil is attacking us because, honestly, I believe there are far more effective missionaries and servants who would be a higher priority for Satan than ourselves. Maybe we’re just dealing with the “B team” of spiritual opposition, I’m not sure.

Please pray for David, as he has an important meeting today regarding evangelism and Cidade Colina. The outcome of this meeting could have a significant impact.
