We’d love to welcome you and your family this Sunday, the 21st, for our Christmas Worship service at 10:30am. It’s a simple, warm time to pause and celebrate the hope Christ brings.

After the service, we’ll share an international lunch together, followed by a relaxed afternoon of family games.

Whether you live here or are just visiting, you’re very welcome to join us!

Christ's Church in Funchal is a family oriented Church, as such we carefully plan opportunities for the members to get together to fellowship, discipleship and reach the community with the gospel.

This is the last sermon in this 3 ½ year series! For a second time we return to the last chapter of Acts, ch28, and see how Paul ends his ministry, just as he had begun it: 'preaching the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul now encounters a 6th trial, different to the others as it is a trial by a storm. Through it we see illustrated how 'God works in all things for the good of those who love Him' (Rom 8:28); as God proves Himself to be Sovereign even over such disasters as that which Paul had to endure. But is it really true that 'both calamities and good things come from [the Most High]' (Lam 3:38)? And if so, what does that mean for you and I?

Next Tuesday (1st August), Christ Church Funchal are meeting together for another church family day out.

These are always special times that include a short devotional message followed by a shared picnic and games🥤🥪🎾⚽️ . For this month’s gathering, we plan to meet at the sandy beach in Calheta, near the Hotel "Calheta Beach" at 10:30am 🏖. We would love to have you join us!
