In the author’s words:
"The image depicts a significant moment from the 'Procissão dos Passos' in Braga, one of the most emblematic Holy Week celebrations in Portugal. The central figure, dressed in a rich tunic and carrying a cross, evokes the representation of Christ on the way to Calvary, conveying solemnity, sorrow, and devotion. The surrounding environment, with other participants and historical elements, reinforces the traditional and deeply religious character of the ceremony, which attracts the faithful and visitors every year.
