Yesterday we dedicated Aviël and Avi, and trying to look dignified while holding two squirming infants was the ultimate pastoral test!

While Aviël was completely calm and sweet with Pastor Larry, Avi was with Pastor Daniel and decided that exact moment was his cue to start crying. Still, standing at the altar with them, our hearts were full of the pure joy filling our sanctuary.

Parenting twins is holy work, and it takes the whole kingdom to pull it off (along with a heavy dose of grace and very strong coffee).

Church family, keep this sweet family in your prayers. We are so blessed to play a part in Aviël and Avi’s story!

God will never supersede or contradict His own Word. God will never tell us something that supersedes or contradicts His Word.
But He will use His word to speak to us. To counsel us and to guide us.

We have to know our Bibles!

It puts it on us to be good students of God’s word to be able to discern and sift through the various voices and the clamoring noises that we are trying to sift through in order to get on what God is saying to us.
