Plugged Into Christ 🌿
📖 John 15:1–18

Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. When we give our lives to Christ, we become connected to Him—His life flows through us, and we begin to produce His fruit. (Galatians 5:22–23)

If we are truly abiding in Christ, our lives should increasingly reflect who He is. There are behaviours and attitudes that shouldn’t remain in us because they are inconsistent with Christ.

And even when we’re bearing fruit, God still prunes us. Through His Word and the Holy Spirit, He corrects and refines us—not to punish us, but because He loves us and wants us to bear more fruit. (Hebrews 12:5–6)

We are cleansed by the Word, which is why abiding requires staying connected to Scripture. (Psalm 1:1–2; Joshua 1:8)
🌱 The blessing of abiding is fruitfulness.
“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season...” — Psalm 1:3

We are living stones, being built into something that displays the goodness and glory of God. (1 Peter 2:1–10; Isaiah 55:1–2)

Stay connected to the Vine.
The closer we abide in Christ, the more His life is reflected through ours. 🤍

Topic: Receiving from God 🤍

Sometimes, receiving from God isn’t simply about receiving something from Him. It’s about becoming the person who can discern, steward, and walk in what He is giving.

Abiding produces fruit, and discernment is a fruit of intimacy with God -Be an intentional listener. Make room for God in the quiet place so He can give you wisdom and direction. (Psalm 45:10)

Asking God for wisdom isn’t only asking Him for an answer—it’s asking Him to show you how He sees the situation. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Sometimes the money, job, or opportunity isn’t the solution. Instead ask:
“Lord, how should I see this? How should I navigate this?”

Go back to the One who made the world.
And remember: God doesn’t just give you the solution—He prepares you to steward it. (John 15:1–2) 🤍

📖 Psalm 103 | Mark 7:5–8 | John 4 | Luke 17:16–19

True worship isn’t just about the words we sing or say, it’s about the posture of our hearts. Jesus said, “These people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Worship begins with a heart that loves and obeys God.

Abel’s offering was accepted because it came from a place of surrender and gratitude, recognising that everything he had belonged to God.

The Father is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. One sign that our hearts are drifting is disobedience. Obedience isn’t about earning God’s love, it’s the fruit of loving Him.
Like the one l***r who returned to thank Jesus, may we never lose our sense of gratitude. A grateful heart naturally becomes a worshipping heart.

📖 Isaiah 60 | John 4:39–40 | Matthew 13:10–17 | John 16:25 | 1 Corinthians 3:1–2 | Hebrews 5:12–13 | John 10:1–19

The Word of God is not merely a historical book. It is our book of life—containing what we need to live this life. Through the Spirit, we can see and hear God, and by faith, we receive the promises He has given us.

But we are not meant to hear the Word and remain as we are. We are meant to grow.

Jesus spoke in parables so that people could relate to and understand the Kingdom, yet some heard without understanding because their hearts had become calloused—a heart of stone.

So what are we feeding on? Milk or solid food?

Milk is only meant for an allocated time. As we grow, we must move forward. Our actions depend on the situation and the context we find ourselves in, and we must always remain surrendered to God to navigate it.

The question is: are we truly hearing, understanding, and growing? 🤍
