My dear brothers and sisters! We’ve often heard, ‘Draw near to Jesus, abide in Him, and you will not sin.’ This is true — and it’s the first step of faith.
But today, God is inviting us to go further than just staying on that first step. He wants us not only to save ourselves and remain safe, but to walk in His power and love to transform others’ lives.
Today, let’s see together how we can move from milk to meat — from simply surviving, to truly serving His greater mission."1. Drawing close to Jesus is essential:
That’s the beginning. Abiding in Him keeps us strong.
John 15:4 — “Abide in Me, and I in you.”
This is the spiritual milk that helps us stand firm and resist sin.2. But God’s plan doesn’t stop there:
He has called us to go out.
Matthew 28:19-20 — “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
This isn’t only the responsibility of pastors or missionaries — it’s for every believer!
3. Walking in His authority and signs:
Mark 16:17-18 — “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons... they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
These things are still possible today. God wants us to step out in faith.4. It’s not about big words — it’s about action:
Jesus said in John 14:12 — “He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.”
This means praying for people, discipling them, sharing the Gospel, helping those in need — all for His glory.
"Today, let’s make a choice: we won’t just remain on milk, but move forward to meat. We won’t just protect our own faith and stay seated, but rise up to help save others.
God is calling us:
– To make disciples
– To pray boldly
– To be light in others’ lives
Let’s pray:"
"Lord Jesus! Fill us with Your power and love. Help us fix our eyes not on ourselves, but on Your Kingdom. Use us to make disciples, to pray for the sick, to share the Good News, and to be witnesses of Your power.
Amen!"
“Come on, let’s move from milk to meat — and with Jesus, help change the world!” Amen 🙏🏻
