Alhamdulillah, the reopening of Masjid Firoz Din in Lower Topi, Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir was held on 14th December 2023. The ceremony was honored by the distinguished presence of Hon. Mr. Sardar Yaqoob Khan, former President & Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, and Engineer Javed Akhtar Paracha, former Joint Secretary & Chair of the Engineering Development Board, Government of Pakistan. Both dignitaries jointly cut the ribbon to inaugurate the newly rebuilt mosque.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Asrar Khan and his friends in Australia for their generous contributions, making this reconstruction possible for the benefit of the local and rural community of Lower Topi. 🌿

Fully operational since 14th December 2023, Masjid Firoz Din serves as a welcoming space for the local community to perform daily prayers (Namaz). The mosque also hosts a Quran school, led by qualified teachers dedicated to helping children learn and live by the teachings of the Holy Quran.

In the near future, Masjid Firoz Din will begin holding regular Juma (Friday) prayers for the surrounding communities which will further establish its role as a hub for worship, education, and unity.

That’s wonderful news! Congratulations on completing Masjid Firoz Din in such a short time. It’s amazing to see what can be achieved with the support of donors and viewers like yourself. The inauguration ceremony on the 14th of December sounds like a momentous occasion, especially with the presence of H.E Hon. Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan (Ex President & Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir) as the chief guest. It’s great to hear that the mosque will soon be open for daily and Friday prayers. May the mosque become a place of peace, unity, and spiritual solace for the community.
