This is the Holy Book which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) as guidance to mankind.The first revelation came to him when the angel Jibril asked him to read. The Prophet(pbuh) said, "I cannot Read" The Angel embraced him tightly and then released him saying, "Read!" Again the Prophet(pbuh) said, "I cannot read!" Once again Angel Jibril embraced him tightly and then released him saying: "Read in the name of the Lord who created! read; and thy Lord is Most Bountiful. He Who has taught by the pen. Taught man that which he knew not" (Al-Alaq. 96:1-5)
