*THE WHOLE WORLD IS IN HIS HANDS*

*Job 12:7-10*

_“But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; 8 Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you. 9 Who among all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this, 10 In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?_

It is interesting how on several occasions, humans are exhorted to learn about God and the principles of living on earth from the non-human elements of creation – the trees, the animals and birds, the sun the moon, the stars and all there is in creation. God has not only revealed Himself in His creation. He has them all in His hands. Their going forth and coming in are all under His control. Jesus even said that no sparrow falls down dead without the knowledge of God the Creator.

Job follows the same pattern and says we should ask the beasts and they will testify. In other words, when we carefully examine the rest of creation, we should come alive with the unquestionable fact that God is not just Owner of creation; He has absolute control over His creation.

Now here’s the big question. If God has maximum attention over His non-human creation, what makes you think that He forgets you who He made in His image and likeness? Very often we allow our unpleasant experiences in this life, suggest to us what we should think about God, instead of holding on to what He said or what He has revealed about Himself. Your life is in His hands, and you should start thinking that way henceforth. He has you fully covered, and nothing changes that.

1. Thank God that you are always on His mind and so is your welfare.
2. Pray for continued trust in God’s protection and provision for your life.
3. Father, please give me a heart of appreciation for who You are and what you do for me.

I declare that God my heavenly Father is above all. His creation is fully in His hands and so am I. He has made me in His image and likeness, far above the rest of creation, and I am dearer to His heart than them all. I declare that this is the foundation for my welfare in this life and nothing changes that in the name of Jesus.

*GIVE UP* *DOUBLEMINDEDNESS*

*1 Kings 18:20-21*

_20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word._

This statement was made to the children by the Prophet Elijah. The story of Israel and Jehovah was a cycle of disobedience, punishment by God, restoration and then disobedience again. This time it had become so serious because they were actually toggling between serving God and serving Baal. If you know the story so well you know that this was what called for the challenge on Mount Carmel.

The message God wants us to know in this passage is that we should desist from living in two worlds. If we want to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, we should serve Him with all our hearts. If we do not want to serve Him, He will not force us, whatever decision we make will continue to have its consequences.

There is no room for double mindedness in our walk with the Lord. We must be firm in our minds about standing for Jesus all the way. Jesus would want us to be either cold then He knows where we are going or be hot for Him. Jesus said warned in the book of Revelations about spewing out those who are lukewarm. We do not know the full implications of this, but it will not be a pleasant experience.
At a time when the world is going in different directions, this is the time for the child of God to stand fast in the faith and declare the Lordship of Jesus everywhere we go. Make sure you are always on God’s side.

*Prayer*
1. Thank God for His faithfulness to you all the days of your life.
2. Pray for a reciprocal love and commitment to God to serve Him and only Him the rest of your life.
3. Father, please help me stand firm in You. Not moved by anything that comes my way in the name of Jesus.

I declare that my heart is on fire for God. I entertain no coldness in these times we are living in. With singleness of mind, I go about my Christian life. I shall continue to be different and let my light shine forth brighter as this world gets darker. I declare that Jesus is mine and I am His forever more in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 37:3-6

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

We live in a world we have made busy with so many activities. We pursue things that are generally good for our lives on earth. But we also know that men often pursue things that may not add much to their lives in any meaningful way. In those circumstances, we feel good that we are engaged and not lazy and not wasting our lives away.
There is one sure way to ensure that you are not wasting your life away – when you invest your life, your time, your money and all you have in the work of God’s kingdom. God’s kingdom is eternal and not comparable to anything people are dying for in this life.

We have God’s promise that anyone who dedicates his life to the work of His kingdom shall never lose a thing. The explanation to that is that when you make God’s business your business, then your business becomes His business. As you get busy doing your privileged part in God’s kingdom, He is equally busy building your life and circumstances towards success and fulfillment.
No one can beat God when it comes to giving. He gives to you more than you can imagine. God does more than you can think of or ask; and this promise is for those who have learned to make His service their delight.
Where do you stand in this equation? Every man must answer this for himself.

Prayer
1. Thank God for His unchanging promise to reward all who invest in His kingdom.
2. Pray that when there is an to serve God, you will not be found wanting.
3. Father, help me invest more of my life into the business of Your kingdom.

Declarations
I declare that God’s business is my business. Whatever He has given me in this life I hold as a steward. I will give them all back to Him upon request. My life is set apart for the business of God’s kingdom. Where I am weak, the Holy Spirit will strengthen me, and I declare that I shall never slack in serving my God and Creator in the name of Jesus.

*YOU ARE A PROBLEM* *SOLVER*

*1 Samuel 17:34-37a*

_34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, 35 I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 37 Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”_

We know King David as one of the true worshippers of all time. We read the Psalms and they are full of his experiences of God’s favor and breakthroughs in his life. This morning, it is worth looking at David from another perspective – a problem solver.

When the great soldiers of Israel who had fought battles all their lives saw no way out of a situation, David found one. Now you must understand here that David’s solution then was not grounded in the fact that he was a war strategist.
He did not command any of the credentials we acknowledge before a mortal mounts the pulpit to make a delivery; yet he stood as one great problem solver. He knew the God who helped him fight the bear and lion in the wilderness had power to bring the giant down.
David’s power to solve problems was deeply rooted in the God of all power and dominion. No one who truly walks with God in close intimacy lacks wisdom to solve problems.

The people who will enjoy life here on earth while waiting to enter eternity are the problem solvers. Simply realize that in Christ we are problem solvers.

*Prayer*
1. Thank God that by His wisdom in you, you are a problem solver.
2. Pray that when you encounter problems, you will look up to Jesus.
3. Father, please make me resistant to stubborn problems.

I declare that God my heavenly Father is the Source of all wisdom. He is the Master problem solver. His wisdom is available to me. Therefore, I am also a problem solver. There is no problem on earth bigger than my God, and there is therefore no problem bigger than me. I declare by divine authority that in Christ I have solutions to all my problems in the name of Jesus!

*GOD’S WAY IS THE WAY*

*Isaiah 55:7-9*

_Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts._

In His wisdom God created us in His image and likeness. Further to this, He gave us the power of choice to make decisions based on what He wills for us. This became a two-edged sword that works for our advantage and often to our disadvantage. It works for our advantage when we make choices that perfectly align with God’s principle and purposes. When we make wrong choices, we always face the consequences. Thank God in those moments He still does not leave us alone.

With the power of choice, we tend to create our own ways and paths. When we create paths that match God’s plans, we get blessed in several ways. Often however, humanity specializes in taking ways that directly oppose God. Those are the ones described as the ways of death however good and right they look in the eyes of men.

God knows His ways are far higher than ours and so are His thoughts. Consequently, God picks issues with us not because we walk in paths that lead to death. He has issues with us because we often refuse to listen to Him; we refuse to seek His thoughts and His ways in making the decisions of this life till we meet with trouble. The wise adopt an “ask God first” policy, and all who do that will not deviate from God’s paths and ways.

*Prayer*
Thank God he has not hidden His ways from you but has made them open.
Pray that you will develop the discipline of first asking God before making major life decisions.
Father, please help me to contact You every day of my life on all issues.

*Declarations*
I acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than mine and so also are His thoughts. I pledge to never go ahead of God again in my life. I declare that I shall wait on Him, learn to seek His face as a lifestyle before I get confronted with the major issues of life. I shall let Him lead and I will follow in the name of Jesus.

*WHAT HAPPENED TO*

*TESTIMONIES?*

*Isaiah 63:7-8*

_I will mention the loving kindnesses of the and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, according to the multitude of His loving kindnesses. 8 For He said, “Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He became their Savior._

The church has undergone some changes, some for good and some still leave us asking questions. The prophet Isaiah declared he will mention the lovingkindness of the Lord according to what He has bestowed upon His children. This was a declaration under the Old Testament. It was made by the prophet who prophesied about Jesus but did not meet Him like Peter and John did. He prophesied but the early church saw the fulfillment of the prophecies.

The question to ask these days is simply this: “where are the testimonies of the Lord”? Put another way we ask, “what happened to testimonies”? Every day we hear of several hours of prayer, particularly in tongues with passion and fervency that can make you feel you do not know how to pray. We sing a lot of songs written by gospel musicians that talk about God; but where are our personal testimonies?
God hears the songs of your favorite gospel musician that you have memorized and sing with all your emotions. He is still waiting to hear of your testimonies when you come into his presence. Is it that He is not answering our long prayers? Is it that we are missing the whole point in this saga of long prayers the whole night talking to God? Let each man examine himself.

*Prayer*
Thank God for His commitment to answer the prayers you offer before His throne.
Pray that all your prayer will be on point, and you will be sensitive to see what God does for you.
Father help me count my blessings and testify to Your goodness at all times.

*Declarations*
I declare that my God is a faithful and prayer-answering heavenly Father. As I pray, He does for me the things I ask of Him. I shall therefore no longer keep silent over all that He has done for me. Nothing shall be small in my eyes, and nothing shall be big; Every good and perfect gift comes from Him and so shall be my testimonies of His goodness in the name of Jesus.

*FIRE PASS FIRE*

*Daniel 3:24-25*

*24 Then King*
_Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”_

This narrative gives us another opportunity to celebrate our heavenly Father who is greater than all. When we say God arise, we are just asking for His greatness to show in unprecedented ways, first to us and to our enemies, and to all around us who may not know our God. That was actually what happened with the three Hebrew boys in Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace.
Unknown to King Nebuchadnezzar was the truth that God is a Consuming Fire. If God is a consuming fire, His fire must be more powerful than any other fire, or anything that presents itself as fire before God. What he did not know was that God’s fire consumed his fire, so the Hebrew boys were actually enjoying the protection that comes from God’s fire, which in its operation, consumes only that which is evil. That explains why only the chords that were used to bind the three boys were consumed.
Every child of God must know that God’s fire is more powerful than any fire they go through. No fire of the devil has power to consume you when you are encircled by God’s fire.
God’s fire is embedded in His presence. This means that for as long as we abide in God’s presence, we are covered by God’s fire. What an amazing arrangement by our heavenly father to protect us His children!

*Prayer*
1. Spend time thanking God for His continued protection over your life and that of your loved ones.
2. Pray that you will only learn to abide in His presence to ensure you have full protection.
3. Father, in Your fire, no fire can burn me. In You I am safe and secure.

*Declarations*
I affirm my faith that I am safe and secure in this life. The fire of God is all over me. The fire of God creates that break in any fire that is set towards me. Therefore, I shall endeavor to stay in His presence. I declare by divine authority that my life is safe because God’s fire encircles me in the name of Jesus.

HELLO GOOD MORNING MAY THE BLESSINGS OF THIS DAY UPON YOU IN JESUS NAME.HOUSE OF THE GUARDIAN SERIES 07.1.2022.
*FOR GOD’S GLORY ONLY*

*John 9:1-5*

_Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”_

There are so many things that were a problem to the disciples and the world to which Jesus came. Here was a man who was born blind. The disciples asked if the man was blind because of his sins and that of his parents. It is possible that some in the community had even concluded that it was the man’s parents who committed sin which brought consequences to their son.

Jesus had to correct the thinking first for the disciples and second the community. Jesus said it was not the man nor his parents but that the whole issue was to eventually bring glory to God. We all know the end of the story. Jesus healed the man and that sparked controversy because He healed him on the sabbath.

Can we conclude that every sick person around is sick so that the works of God be revealed in him? These are difficult questions. What we can see however is that God’s commitment to heal the sick in our midst continues; and yes, anytime anyone receives miraculous healing, God’s glory is revealed.

Jesus has made us light of the world to continue the works He did. If we seek God’s glory to be revealed, we can guarantee His intervention in the challenges we bring before Him in prayer. Let God’s glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.

*Prayer*
1. Thank God for His willingness to show Himself strong if we create the conditions.
2. Pray that you will be a vessel God can use to heal and deliver people.
3. Father, please help make myself more available to my people.

*Declarations*
I declare that God is the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever. He continues to work miracles in the lives of those who believe. I believe and so I expect Him to work miracles in my life and through me. I declare that in every unpleasant situation I face, I now see potential for God’s glory to be revealed in the name of Jesus.

*Isaiah 54:1-3*

_“Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. 3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited._

One tragedy of human experience is that although we speak of our God as the Great One who holds all power in His hands, although we declare Him as above all and sovereign, although we speak of Him as ever-loving and filling all things, we constantly put a limit on Him when it comes to experiencing all we believe of Him.

God on the other hand has never stopped calling on us to trust Him more than we ever have. When He promises to do something for us, He does not talk in limiting terms. It does not look like He is careful about what He promises. He speaks out of His great knowledge, wisdom and power. He speaks out of His full and total self. That is why He promises us great things. His promises are big.

Today He is commanding us to enlarge our tents and stretch the curtains of our dwellings. He does not limit us regarding the extent of our expansion. He simply said we should enlarge our expectations. It is like giving us a blank check and waiting to see how much we can trust Him to do for us.
Let us take the opportunity of His greatness and take the limits off in our expectations of what He will do for us when we ask. He is the Great God!

*Prayer*
1. Thank God for His faithfulness and commitment to bless you in any measure.
2. Pray for a child-like faith in a big God and remove the limits.
3. Father, please lift me up from myself and plant me in Christ where I can trust You more.

*Declarations*
I declare that my God owns everything. His resources never get depleted. He knows how to provide in the midst of any situation and circumstance. Therefore, I put my trust in Him absolutely. I no longer walk in limitation. I expect great things from my Great Father in the name of Jesus.

*REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE*

*Romans 6:7-11*

_7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord._

If you found a rich man’s son in a queue where people are waiting for their turn to receive some used clothes and a small amount of money that can last for a few days, what would be your immediate response? Confused? Full of sympathy? Angry at his father?

The truth is that usually, no rich man’s son who knows he is the only heir to his father’s property will live like a pauper. They walk with their chests out. A few of them become arrogant; but generally, they don’t live like people who have no hope in this life. They know who they are.

The child of God has an identity that surpasses that of the son of the richest man on earth. The problem is that we often do not have the full consciousness of what God has done for us. We often run our lives like we are catching up in this life; not the ones leading our world. If the world is crying about evil and corruption all around, do we stand up as oaks of righteousness? When we reckon ourselves as dead unto sin, the temptations of the world look dim in the light of God’s glory and grace. Be who God has made you.

*Prayer*
1. Thank God for lifting you above principalities and powers and giving you power over sin.
2. Pray for a constant dependence on the Holy Spirit so as to walk in constant victory over sin.
3. Father, please let your anointing forever help me prevail over temptation.

*Declarations*
I declare that all power belongs to my Father and He has endowed me with His power through Jesus Christ. God has lifted me above principalities and powers. God has equipped me to live in righteousness. In the name of Jesus, I shall not fail my heavenly Father. I declare by the grace of God that I shall honor Him by my righteous living in the name of Jesus.
