Service Overview:

The Sunday Worship Service was held on 2nd August 2026 at UPC Church Asif Town, Lahore, in an atmosphere of worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving to God.

The Sunday worship service commenced at 5:00 PM under the leadership of Church Secretary Brother Asim Jamshid, who graciously presided over the service.
The congregation was led into heartfelt worship by Choir Leader Brother Kamran Wilson, who led inspiring songs of praise and worship, glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was filled with joy, reverence, and the presence of God.
A warm and respectful welcome was extended to our honored guest, Assistant Bishop, UPC Pakistan, Principal of New Life Theological Seminary, Professor Dr. Rev. Peter John. He was welcomed with flowers, heartfelt applause, and great honor by the church family.
Pastor Asif Nadeem introduced his respected teacher, mentor, and Assistant Bishop of the United Pentecostal Church in Pakistan, Professor Dr. Rev. Peter John, expressing gratitude for his faithful ministry and lifelong service to the Kingdom of God.
Professor Dr. Rev. Peter John delivered a powerful, Spirit-filled biblical message that greatly encouraged and challenged the congregation to grow deeper in their faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Following the sermon, he ministered individually to the congregation, praying for each person by laying his hands upon their heads and asking God's blessing, strength, healing, and anointing upon their lives and families. The church experienced a powerful move of the Holy Spirit during this special time of prayer.
The service concluded with thanksgiving to God for His presence and blessings. It was a truly memorable and spiritually enriching fellowship that strengthened the faith of everyone in attendance.

The Sunday Worship Service commenced at 5:00 PM, with Brother Asim Jamshid presiding over the meeting. Prior to the main service, the Sunday School began at 4:30 PM under the leadership of Sister Huma, who faithfully taught the children from the Word of God.

The congregation joyfully worshipped and praised the Lord Jesus Christ through inspiring hymns, spiritual songs, and worship in tongues, creating an atmosphere of reverence and thanksgiving.

Pastor Asif Nadeem delivered a powerful, Bible-based message entitled "Tithing and God's Blessings: Honouring God First, the Principle of Tithing, and the Blessings of Obedience." The main Scripture was Malachi 3:8–12. The sermon emphasized the importance of faithfully honouring God with our tithes, trusting His promises, and experiencing the abundant blessings that accompany obedience to His Word.

Following the message, Pastor Asif Nadeem prayed a special blessing over the congregation, asking God to strengthen their faith, meet their needs, and pour out His favour upon every family. The service concluded with a time of Christian fellowship as members warmly greeted and congratulated one another, celebrating God's goodness and the unity of the church. Our Sunday Worship Service was conducted in a spirit of reverence and joy.
The service was presided over by Mr. Asim Jamshid, who graciously led the congregation throughout the meeting. Sister Pakeeza, the Choir Leader, led the church in heartfelt worship through inspiring spiritual psalms and songs of praise, preparing the hearts of the congregation for the ministry of God's Word.
Pastor Incharge, Pastor Asif Nadeem, delivered a powerful expository sermon from James 4:1–3 on the topic, "The Battle Within: The Root of Conflict and the Power of God." The message emphasized the biblical causes of conflicts within the human heart and the transforming power of God to bring victory, peace, and spiritual maturity.
At the conclusion of the service, a special prayer was offered for the infilling of the Holy Spirit for the new believers who had recently received water baptism. The congregation joined together in faith, seeking God's continued work in their spiritual lives.
We thank God for His presence, His Word, and the lives that continue to be transformed through His grace.
