Today, St. Andrew’s Church community stands in solidarity with workers across Pakistan as we mark Labour Day. We salute the dedication, hard work, and resilience of Pakistan’s workforce, the true catalysts of economic growth and social change.

From the fields of Punjab to the factories, classrooms, hospitals, markets, and offices of our cities, it is the labor of millions that builds this nation each day. The hands that lay bricks, drive rickshaws, stitch garments, harvest crops, and keep our streets clean carry a dignity that deserves honor, fair wages, and safe conditions.

As a community of faith, we remember that work is more than livelihood. It is contribution, creativity, and selfless service to one another. Scripture reminds us:

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord..." – Colossians 3:23

On this day, we pray for justice in the workplace, for the protection of labour rights, and for opportunities that allow every worker to support their family with pride.

To every laborer in Pakistan: Your effort matters. Your perseverance inspires. Your sacrifices shape our tomorrow.

St. Andrew’s Church Community to uphold all of your work and efforts that bring equity, respect, and hope to workforce. We pray for God's blessings to you and your family.

𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀, 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 ✨🌎

Every month, the women of St. Andrew's Church, Diocese of Lahore - The Church of Pakistan (United) gather in sacred fellowship to seek spiritual renewal and community. On April 24th, 2026, our fellowship proudly joined the World Day of Prayer - International Committee in celebrating its Centennial Year.

In honor of approaching to 100-year milestone, we celebrated the Earth day, embracing the truth that "Earth Day is every day." To mark the forthcoming centennial year, the WDP International Committee asked communities worldwide to plant a tree—a living symbol of the movement itself. Much like our faith, a tree requires time to establish, sending roots deep into the earth to eventually provide shelter and sustenance for all. WDP is honored to join this global by planting a tree, symbolizing our commitment to growth and creation care.

During our gathering, we also turned our hearts towards our Nigerian sisters as 2026 year is observed praying for people of Nigeria. By reflecting on their lives and challenges, we stood together in prayerful sisterhood, bridging the distance through our shared faith.

At St. Andrew's Church, every fourth Friday, our fellowship embarks on a profound spiritual journey focused on sharing the joys and trials of our daily lives, Witnessing God’s work in our lives, Deepening our relationship with the Divine and one another.

This gathering serves as a sanctuary where women are renewed, equipped, and empowered to live out their faith with courage and grace.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our beloved Vicar, Rev. Irshad John, and Mrs. Gulzar Irshad, for their steadfast guidance and for continually uplifting this ministry in prayer.

Join Us! Every fourth friday of the month for Women’s Prayer Fellowship. Come celebrate God’s faithfulness, strengthen the bonds of sisterhood, and work alongside us to advance His Kingdom.

May the Lord shower His abundant blessings upon you always and remember, Root. Reflect. Rise. One hundred years of prayer — and the next century begins now.

Holy Communion Service at St. Andrew's Church, Diocese of Lahore - The Church of Pakistan (United) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨

On the Third Sunday of April 2026, the congregation of St. Andrew's Church gathered for a solemn and uplifting celebration of the Eucharist. In an atmosphere of prayerful and blessed worship service, the faithful gathered to receive the sacred sacrament in unity and devotion. The Eucharist celebrant was Vicar of St. Andrew's Church, Rev. Irshad John. He led the beautiful services in both languages. We cordially invite you all to join us for Blessed services.

During the service, Mr. Moses Oniel David delivered an insightful sermon that shed light on significant historical contexts and exhorted the congregation to deepen their faith and draw closer to God. We praise God for Brother Moses and his dedication in serving the Lord. Through worship and fellowship, the community reaffirmed its commitment to spiritual growth and to living out its calling in Christ.

May the enduring presence of God continue to guide and bless St. Andrew's Church, Diocese of Lahore, Church of Pakistan (United), as it seeks to grow in faith and service.
