Lahore, August 2026 — What an unforgettable, joy-filled day our St. Andrew’s congregation experienced as we journeyed together for our Church Family Trip 2026!

From our energetic Sunday School children to our deeply cherished elders of the Urdu Congregation, the air was filled with warm smiles and anticipation as we set off toward the lush greenery of Rana Resort and the historic scenic views of Head Balloki.

Our time at Rana Resort was a true feast of nature, fellowship, and fun. Surrounded by sprawling green lawns, shade, and peaceful surroundings, families explored the grounds, enjoyed rides, and shared lighthearted moments together. Seeing our young children running freely with beaming smiles while our elders relaxed and conversed under the trees made the whole atmosphere alive with pure happiness—a beautiful testament to the warmth of our parish family.

Continuing our journey, we visited Head Balloki, where the wide river views and boating activities made us enjoy the amazing Ravi river. Standing together along the water, taking in the sights and enjoying the cool breeze. The participants also enjoyed boating.
We gathered to share a delicious meal together, our hearts overflowing with praise and thanksgiving for the seamless togetherness, endless laughter, and safety God granted us from departure to return.
A heartfelt thank you to our beloved Rev and Mrs. Irshad John, as well as the organizing committee, for planning yet another joy-filled, flawlessly executed outing for our St. Andrew's family. Your selfless leadership, thoughtful coordination, and care for every single member made this trip a resounding success. We remain deeply humbled by God’s grace and the blessing of walking side-by-side in Christian unity. May Almighty God shower His richest blessings upon every family in our church!

Jesus: The Resurrection & Life | Eleventh Sunday after the Feast of Trinity 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On the third Sunday of August, our congregation gathered for a blessed Holy Communion service. The liturgy and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist were gracefully led by our Vicar, the Reverend Irshad John, as the church family came together around the Lord’s Table to partake in the Sacrament and renew their walk of faith.

We were deeply enriched by an insightful message delivered by Prof. Qammar Fayyaz, an esteemed member of our congregation. Preaching on the theme, "Jesus: The Resurrection & Life," Prof. Fayyaz reminded us of the unwavering hope, eternal life, and daily transformation available through Christ Jesus. The combination of Scripture, powerful preaching, and Holy Communion made for a deeply uplifting morning.

The service was marked by reverence, heartfelt worship, and dynamic fellowship across generations.

As we step into the week ahead, may the reality of Christ’s resurrection power anchor our faith and light our path.
