The inauguration ceremony of Pakistan Christian Council International (PCCI) Punjab was organized under the leadership of the Chairman of the Council, Senator Kamran Michael. Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman was the chief guest of the ceremony. Bishop Azad Marshall, Pastor Anwar Fazal, Colonel Macdonald Chandi, Pastor Javed Rauf, Pastor Waseem Khokhar. former provincial minister Khalil Tahir Sindhu, former member of the provincial assembly Tahir Naveed Chaudhry. Shakil Marks, Tariq Gul, Zulfiqar Ghori and other political and social figures participated in full. Speaking at a local hotel in Lahore, the participants called the establishment of the Christian Council an important need of the hour. The speakers said that the Christian nation was violating human rights at that time.
