Aslam Pervaiz Sahotra in 1985 on self support basis. The basic purpose of the organization was to raise the voice for impoverished and marginalized communities who are under threat of resourceful landlords and greedy employers of brick kiln and carpet weaving industries. HLCP was properly registered in 2003 but so far it is working purely on self support basis. HLCP is working for the eradication
of bonded labor, struggle for the release of laborers working in the field of resourceful landlords, brick kiln owners, carpet weaving industry owners and domestic workers as over the years it has become a trend to torture domestic workers and keep them as slaves. HLCP also raise voice for the rights of sanitary workers. Over the years HLCP boldly step forward to highlight the issues of under privileged communities’ especially religious minorities no matter if it is about the rights of people who are targeted by Blasphem Laws like Asia Bibi, Arshad and Rashid Emmanuel who were shot dead in courts, or the people of Gojra. HLCP is always eager to serve the communities without any religious, racial and ethnic biasness
