Greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to introduce you to BASIC BIBLE CHILDREN'S TRAINING which is a nonprofit project and unique to Pakistan, serving in urban, rural and remote areas. We teach the children the basics of the Bible and help create awareness of the true Christian life. We also train them in self-defence skills and prepare them adequately for the future.
Fire of Holy Ghost Ministries are the pioneers of this project and are now doing the same in various churches by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. FHG Ministries is fulfilling the great commission of Jesus Christ and working on saving the lost, focussing on spiritual growth of the congregation and making disciples for Jesus Christ. The goal of BASIC BIBLE CHILDREN’S TRAINING is to bring about a change for the better in our environment.
The majority of the Christian community has been impoverished since the inception of Pakistan and hence have lost their basic rights to education. The men work very hard in Brick Making Companies, roads and home sweeping while the women work in rich homes for meagre salaries to meet their daily needs. Despite hard labour, they are still unable to earn enough to meet all their expenses. Parents are unable to give a decent education to their children because of poverty and as a result, children lose their basic right.
According to church survey, little girls are left at homes to fend for themselves and young boys play on the streets whilst the parents are at work. There are no playgrounds in the Christian areas and children have no access to recreational activities like other developed countries do. As a result, there have been serious consequences with children being lured into vices like drugs, s*x and other evils which has ruined their lives. That is where we, the Church, come in to save the innocent children and love them with the love of Jesus.
BBCT team teaches basic bible principles through the Bible, games, christian cartoons and films, entertainment as well as arts and crafts. We place a great deal of emphasis on teaching them how to avoid drug addiction and peddling, s*xual abuse and other vices. Our Church is praying daily asking The Lord to send us connections that will partner with us to help fund our project.
