"Defending the Church: Exposing the Truth Behind the False Allegations Against Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti and Lahore Church Council"
In the face of relentless attacks and false accusations, Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti, the Secretary General/Moderator of the Lahore Church Council, continues to stand firm in defense of the Church's rights and its members. The recent allegations being spread by land mafias and their accomplices are nothing more than a desperate attempt to discredit his efforts to reclaim church property worth 1 billion rupees, illegally occupied for decades by land grabbers.
THE TRUTH: The facts are clear. The land in question, Plots No. 32, 33, 34, and 35 at Bank Square, was originally owned by the American Presbyterian Mission since 1904. Over the years, it transferred to the Lahore Church Council. Despite court rulings declaring illegal sale deeds as fake, fraudulent, and factitious, land mafias have made repeated attempts to seize this property.
In 1992, the first land mafia, led by Mazhar Hussain, fraudulently created two fake sale deeds and tried to procure a bank loan of 17 Crores, which they ultimately defaulted on. This led to legal battles, culminating in multiple court judgments against the mafias. In 2019, Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti stepped forward and requested official confirmation of the Church’s ownership, which was verified.
In 2022, a second land mafia, headed Omer Akbar Shah, Shakeel Sarfaraz and Irshad Shah, demanded 15 million rupees to vacate the land, but the Church lacked the funds to pay them. Instead of following the law, the mafias continued their illegal occupation. The second land mafia, afterwards, sold the possession of the church property to the third land mafia led by Ahsan Rajput and Muhammad Iqbal, on 25th August 2022. They purchased the illegal possession of these plots from the former mafia only to later offer 16 Crores in exchange for a fresh sale deed from the Church through Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti—an offer the Church declined because the land's true value is 1 billion rupees and another sale deed is also in field which the church has challenged in court, until its cancellation the new sale deed is not legal to be executed.
After being exposed and cornered legally, this land mafia has now resorted to dirty tactics by lodging false FIRs and spreading malicious propaganda against Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti on social media. But let the record show: four different courts have ruled against the land mafias, and their fraudulent sale deeds have been invalidated by the legal system. The mafias, along with some Judas Iscariot characters, continue to facilitate lies and deceit, but their efforts will not deter the truth.
THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE CONTINUES: The Lahore Church Council, under the leadership of Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti, has pursued every legal and administrative forum to have the illegally occupied land vacated. His efforts to protect the church property and its members are firm, and despite the false accusations, the truth remains on his side.
In response to this ongoing injustice, the Lahore Church Council will soon call upon community members to gather for a peaceful yet powerful protest. Together, we will stand against the land mafias, the corrupt administrative systems in Lahore, and the policing agencies that have failed to uphold justice.
"This united action will demand the immediate vacating of the illegally occupied Church lands in Gulberg and Bank Square."
These lands, once reclaimed, will be used for the betterment of the Christian community, ensuring they serve the common good and honor the legacy of our faith.
STANDING STRONG IN FAITH: As Christians, we know that walking the righteous path often invites persecution. The Bible tells us, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 5:10
And as Saint Paul reminds us, “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” - 2 Timothy 3:12
Despite the challenges, we stand united in faith and strength. Mushtaq Sajeel Bhatti is not only a defender of justice but also a defender of the Church and its community. Together, we will continue this fight for truth and justice, knowing that no amount of falsehood can overshadow the light of righteousness.

مسلسل حملوں اور جھوٹے الزامات کا سامنا کرتے ہوئے، مشتاق سجییل بھٹی، جو لاہور چرچ کونسل کے سیکرٹری جنرل/موڈریٹر ہیں، چرچ کے حقوق اور اس کے ارکان کے دفاع میں مضبوطی سے کھڑے ہیں۔ حالیہ الزامات، جو کہ لینڈ مافیا اور ان کے ساتھیوں کی طرف سے پھیلائے جا رہے ہیں، ان کی ایک ارب روپے کی مالیت کی چرچ کی زمین کو واپس لینے کی کوششوں کو بدنام کرنے کی ایک مایوس کن کوشش سے زیادہ کچھ نہیں ہیں۔ یہ زمین دہائیوں سے غیر قانونی طور پر قبضہ مافیا کے قبضے میں ہے۔

جب یہ مافیا قانونی طور پر بے نقاب اور پھنسا گیا تو انہوں نے گندی چالوں کا سہارا لیا، جس میں مشتاق سجییل بھٹی کے خلاف جھوٹی ایف آئی آرز درج کروانا اور سوشل میڈیا پر ان کے خلاف بدنیتی پر مبنی پروپیگنڈا پھیلانا شامل ہے۔ لیکن ریکارڈ دکھاتا ہے کہ چار مختلف عدالتوں نے لینڈ مافیا کے خلاف فیصلے سنائے ہیں، اور ان کے جعلی سیل ڈیڈز کو قانونی نظام نے مسترد کر دیا ہے۔ مافیا اور ان کے کچھ یہودا اسکریوت جیسے کردار جھوٹ اور دھوکہ دہی کی مدد سے کوششیں جاری رکھے ہوئے ہیں، لیکن ان کی یہ کوششیں سچ کو دبانے میں ناکام ہوں گی۔
انصاف کی جنگ جاری ہے: مشتاق سجییل بھٹی کی قیادت میں لاہور چرچ کونسل نے غیر قانونی طور پر قبضہ شدہ زمین کو خالی کروانے کے لیے ہر قانونی اور انتظامی فورم پر آواز اٹھائی ہے۔ چرچ کی جائیداد اور اس کے ارکان کے تحفظ کے لیے ان کی کوششیں مضبوط ہیں، اور جھوٹے الزامات کے باوجود، سچ ان کے ساتھ ہے۔
اس جاری ناانصافی کے ردعمل میں، لاہور چرچ کونسل جلد ہی کمیونٹی کے ارکان کو ایک پرامن مگر طاقتور احتجاج کے لیے بلائے گی۔ ہم سب مل کر لینڈ مافیا، لاہور کے بدعنوان انتظامی نظام، اور پولیس کے ان اداروں کے خلاف کھڑے ہوں گے جنہوں نے انصاف کو قائم رکھنے میں ناکامی کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے۔
"یہ متحدہ عمل غیر قانونی طور پر قبضہ کی گئی چرچ کی زمینوں کو گلبرگ اور بینک اسکوائر میں فوری طور پر خالی کروانے کا مطالبہ کرے گا"۔
یہ زمینیں جب واپس مل جائیں گی تو مسیحی کمیونٹی کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے استعمال کی جائیں گی، تاکہ وہ ہماری ایمان کی وراثت کی تعظیم کریں۔
ایمان میں مضبوطی کے ساتھ کھڑے: مسیحیوں کے طور پر، ہم جانتے ہیں کہ راستبازی کے راستے پر چلنا اکثر مشکلات کو دعوت دیتا ہے۔ بائبل ہمیں بتاتی ہے، “مبارک ہیں وہ جو راستبازی کے سبب سے ستائے جاتے ہیں، کیونکہ آسمان کی بادشاہی انہی کی ہے۔” - متی 5:10
