🇳🇬 Nigeria’s 2027 Election Campaign Begins
Nigeria is heading toward a major political test as President Bola Tinubu faces growing public anger over the cost of living and insecurity.
Since taking office in 2023, Tinubu has removed fuel subsidies and introduced currency reforms, measures that supporters say could strengthen Nigeria’s economy in the long term.
But for many ordinary Nigerians, daily life has become more difficult. Rising food prices, expensive transport and declining purchasing power are putting pressure on families and small businesses.
Insecurity, including kidnappings and armed violence, is another major concern for voters.
