Teaching the Bible Is a Solemn Responsibility:

James, the Lord’s half brother, wrote, “My brethren, let not many of
you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment”
(Jas 3:1, NKJV). The first reason that teachers receive a stricter judgment
is that teachers are responsible for their impact on their students. Additionally, Bible teachers make many claims about God, and we must be
very careful not to dishonor Him by saying anything untrue about Him.
