حضرت علی (ع) سجده میں تھے کہ ابن ملجم نے آپ کے فرق مبارک پر تلوار کا وار کیا۔ آپ کے سر سے خون جاری ہوا آپ کی داڑھی اور محراب خون سے رنگین ہو گئی۔ اس حالت میں حضرت علی (ع) نے فرمایا، ” فزت و رب الکعبه “ کعبہ کے رب کی قسم میں کامیاب ہو گیا۔

In this holy month of Ramadan, on the night of qadar, in the mosque, in the mehrab, during the morning Salah, Imam Ali (a) was struck with a poisonous sword while his forehead was bowed in the prostration after getting hit by the sword Those were the words he stated:


فُزْتُوَرَبِّالْکَعْبَة
"By The Lord of the Ka'ba I have Succeeded"
