The Quran versus other books on religion:
============================
Regarding the Quran, Allah the Almighty states that it is the Word of Allah and the saying of the Messenger! And this is the saying of that Messenger whom Allah commands to be obeyed, and the Messenger himself believed in what Allah revealed in the Book and he tells us to believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Ummiyy Prophet, who believes in Allah and in His words. Allah establishes the truth with His words, and Allah wants to exalt the truth with His words and to cut off the root of disbelief. In this way, one must obey Allah and obey the Messenger, only then will it be said that whoever obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah, and whoever turns away from it, then surely Allah does not like the disbelievers.
Al-Quran:
It is surely the sayings of a noble messenger, The one possessing power and a high status with the Lord of the Throne, The one obeyed there, trusted.
(81:19,20,21)
So, towards that invite, and be steadfast as you are commanded, and do not follow their desires, and say, “I believe in what Allah revealed of the Book. And I have been ordered to do justice among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you, your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is the final return.”
(42:15)
Say, “O people, I am a messenger of Allah to you from the One to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no god except Him. He gives life and brings death. So, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Ummiyy Prophet, who believes in Allah and in His words, and follow him, so that you may find the right path.”
(7:158)
And Allah establishes the truth with His words, even though the guilty ones may dislike it.
(10:82)
And Allah wanted to establish the Truth through His Words and to cut off the root of the disbelievers.
(8:7)
Whoever obeys the Messenger obeys Allah, and whoever turns away, then, We did not send you to stand guard over them.
(4:80)
Say: “Obey Allah and the Messenger.” Then, if you will turn back, Allah does not love the disbelievers.”
(3:32)
Other books on religion:
================
There are also some Imams who know the Book of Allah only according to their desires and speculate. Allah declares them Satan and enemies of the Prophets, they deceive people with their fabricated sayings, they write books with their own hands, then attribute them to Allah and the Messenger and say that it is from Allah, so that they can sell it for a small price. And they write in their books that "The Fire will not touch us except for a few days". They say, "We will be forgiven." And the hearts of those who have inherited the Book and doubt it and do not believe in the Hereafter incline towards these books.
Allah asks them: Do you have a book in which you read that you will have what you like in it, or do we have a covenant with you until the Day of Judgment that you will have what you command?
Allah says; Ask them: Who is the guarantor of their writings? Do they have news of the unseen which they write down? Or do they have associate-gods, so bring their associate-gods if they are truthful. Or do they have an instrument by which they hear? If so, then let their listener bring a clear proof. The truth is that they consider what Allah has revealed as insignificant and make a living by denying it. Allah curses what their hands have written and curses what they have earned.
And recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord; the words of your Lord are fulfilled in justice and truth, none can change His words, and you will find no refuge other than Him. And if you were to follow the majority of those on earth, they would lead you astray from the path of Allah; they follow nothing but conjecture and engage in mere guesswork. In the Hereafter, the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, indeed my people took hold of this Quran but left it, considering it useless and incomplete." Thus We made the criminals enemies to every Prophet and your Lord is sufficient as a Guide and Helper.
Al-Quran
Among them are the Leaders who have no knowledge of the Book, but have some fancies and do nothing but conjecture. Therefore woe be unto those who write the Books with their hands and then say, "This is from Allah," that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe to them for that their hands have written, and woe to them for that they earn thereby.
(2:78,79)
And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies Satan among human and jinn, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion. If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications.
(6:112)
And they divided not till after knowledge had come to them, through transgression between themselves. And had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord for an appointed term, the matter would have been settled between them. And verily, those who were made to inherit the Book after them are in confounding doubt about it.
(42:14)
That the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter may incline to such and that they may remain pleased with it, and that they may commit what they are committing.
(6:113)
They say, “The fire shall not touch us for more than a few days.” Say, “Have you taken a pledge from Allah, and Allah will not go against His promise? Or, do you say about Allah what you do not know?”
(2:80)
Do you have a book in which you take Durs. That for you there is what you choose? Or do you have oaths sworn by Us, remaining effective up to the Day of Judgment, that you will get what you decide?
(68:37,38,39)
Ask them which of them stands as guarantor for that.
(68:40)
Or have they (the knowledge of) the Unseen, so they write down?
(52:41)
Or do they have associate-gods? Then, let them bring their associate-gods, if they are true.
(68:41)
Or have they a transmission by means of which they listen? If so, their listener must bring a clear proof.
(52:38)
A Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. Is it this discourse that you take lightly, And take your denial as your livelihood?
(56:80,81,82)
And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. None can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him.
(18:27)
The Word of your Lord is perfect in truth and justice. None is there to change His words, and He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. If you obey the majority of those on earth, they will make you lose the way of Allah. They follow nothing but whims, and they do nothing but make conjectures.
(6:115,116)
And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Quran as abandoned." In a similar way We made for every Prophet an enemy from among the criminals, but your Lord suffices as a guide and as a supporter.
