Tragic news from Northern Afghanistan: More than 700 lives lost in devastating flash floods that struck Baghlan province.
Overnight heavy rains have left hundreds dead, with reports of 150 fatalities confirmed at local hospitals and 500 in just 3-4 villages. Five districts of Baghlan have been affected, and with 200 people still trapped under rubble and mud, the death toll is expected to rise.
Revive Afghanistan's team is on the ground in Baghlan providing immediate assistance.
