In Pakistan’s deeply pluralistic and religiously charged context, the Church as a whole is continually navigating questions of faith, identity, and intellectual responsibility. As religious discourse increasingly intersects with social, cultural, and political realities, the need for theology and apologetics has never been more important. Our complex experience as the Church in Pakistan—within a contrasting religious landscape—has raised unresolved questions and, at times, resulted in a blurred vision on various critical issues.
In response to this need, and in collaboration with Pakistan’s celebrated scholars of theology and apologetics, we are pleased to convene an important academic webinar on:
“The Place of Theology and Apologetics in Pakistan’s Religious Landscape.”
This gathering moves well beyond the format of a conventional webinar. It brings together some of the most respected theologians, apologists, and Christian intellectuals of our time—voices whose scholarship and public engagement are shaping theological reflection and faith discourse within Pakistan’s distinct religious, cultural, and socio-political realities.
Panelists:
Rev. Prof. Shafique Kanwal, Dr. Qaiser Julius, Prof. Lubna Zeeshan, Apologist Aamir Khadim, Prof. Rev. Tony William.
Participants can expect rigorous theological engagement, carefully reasoned apologetic reflection, and methodologically grounded teaching. The sessions are designed to deepen doctrinal clarity, sharpen intellectual discernment, and equip participants for thoughtful, credible, and contextually sensitive engagement within Pakistan’s complex religious environment.
