A meeting was convened in Lyari Town in connection with the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Harram, chaired jointly by the SDPO Lyari Town and SHO Baghdadi.
Representing Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan District South, District Coordinator Mr. Syed Yawar Abbas Zaidi and Deputy Coordinator Mr. Zakir Hussain attended the meeting. Officers of concerned law enforcement agencies, permit holders, and caretakers of Imambargahs were also present.
During the meeting, a comprehensive strategy was deliberated to ensure foolproof security arrangements during the days of mourning. Emphasis was laid on effective monitoring of procession and majlis routes, deployment of additional personnel, strict checking at entry and exit points, snap checking, and enhanced security measures at sensitive locations.
Furthermore, instructions were issued to strengthen coordination among all stakeholders, ensure an effective communication mechanism, and maintain rapid response readiness to deal with any emergency situation. Strict compliance with the code of conduct was also directed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was reaffirmed that, through coordinated efforts and mutual cooperation, law and order will be maintained at all costs during Muharram-ul-Harram, and all available resources will be utilized to prevent any untoward incident.
