There are numerous benefits of reciting Durood Sharif on a regular basis. Some of the benefits are mentioned below:
1. The person who recited the maximum number of Durood Sharif in his entire life will be the closest to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) on the Day of Judgment.
2. Allah (SWT) showers 10 blessings on the person who recites Durood each time.
3. It is the expiation of sins.
4. It is a means of obtaining the mercy of Allah (SWT).
5. The one who recites Durood Shareef will rise ten degrees in status, 10 sins get forgiven, and 10 good deeds are recorded.
6. Reciting Durood Sharif eradicates poverty and hunger.
7. The heart gets purified upon recitation of Durood Sharif every day.
8. It is the source of acceptance of Dua when recited Durood Shareef.
9. The person who recites Durood Shareef will overcome his troubles.
10. It helps the person to remember something when he forgets

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐛 𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭

“When it is the fifteenth of Shaban, then stand (in worship) at night and fast during the day. Because Allah descends in this night at sunset to the first heaven and says: ‘Is there any seeker of forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there any seeker of sustenance, that I may sustain him? Is there anyone in affliction, that I may remove his affliction? Is there anyone like this, like that (and so on)’. This continues until Fajr.” (Ibn Majah)

Durood e Ibrahim is considered the most authentic and prominent Durood Shareef. This Durood is the best form of salutation that was taught by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). [Sahih al-Bukhari 6357] Recite Durood Sharif 313 times.

𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥-𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐛𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐢

Imam Sajjad (p) is reported to have said:

“May God have mercy upon my uncle, al-Abbas (p). He preferred his brother [Imam Hussain (p)] over himself; he sacrificed himself for the sake of his brother until he lost his two hands for [this cause]. Thus, instead of his two hands, God will give him two wings with which he will fly with the angels in Paradise, just like Jafar ibn Abi Talib (p). In the sight of God, the Blessed, the Exalted, al-Abbas (p) enjoys a [special] rank on the day of Resurrection, and all the martyrs will desire a similar one.”
