Imagine a big parade! Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, and people cheered and waved palm branches . They shouted, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
What Happened?
Jesus rode a donkey (not a big horse)
People praised God and welcomed Jesus
Jesus came in peace, not as a king with power
Why is it Important?
Jesus showed love and humility
He cared about people and wanted to help
He fulfilled prophecy (Zechariah 9:9)
