It's been almost a month since the departure of Abouna Anthony's soul.

Yesterday, a memorial liturgy was held in his honor, attended by Copts, Greek Orthodox, and representatives from 11 different nationalities worldwide. Who participated in the Coptic Orthodox liturgy.

Abouna Anthony was a renowned priest of St.Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church Pakistan and as participants from various nationalities lifted their hands in prayer for him and his soul, his legacy was evident.

Interestingly, my priest informed me that this year marks the 1700th anniversary of the council of nicea, the first ecumenical council.

Abouna Anthony St. Mark & St. Bishoy Coptic Orthodox Church so much thank you to Greek church for letting us use their space. The church establishment is based in Bangor, ME in USA.
