1st RABI UL AWWAL
The day the door of the House of Revelation was set on fire
Ya Syeda Fatima az-Zahra (sa).
Only days after the departure of her beloved father, the Messenger of Allah (s), the sanctity of her home was violated.
They came demanding bay'ah. When Imam Ali (as) refused, they gathered wood, brought fire, and threatened:
"By Allah, if you do not come out, we will burn this house with everyone inside it."
Syeda stood at the door. Alone in her grief.
She pleaded in the name of Allah and her father.
They did not stop.
The door was pushed with force.
The nail of the door pierced her pure chest.
Her rib was broken.
Between the door and the wall, the unborn child in her womb - Muhsin ibn Ali - was martyred.
The daughter of the Prophet, the one about whom he said
"Fatima is a part of me; whoever hurts her has hurt me," was struck, insulted, and left bleeding while the fire still burned at her threshold.
That day the House of Prophethood became the House of Sorrows (Bayt al-Ahzan).
That day the light of Zahra was dimmed by the darkness of injustice.
That day the first martyr of Ahlulbayt after the Prophet was a child who never even saw the world.
We remember.
We mourn.
We do not forget.
Ya Fatima... the pain you endured still burns in the hearts of your lovers.
Your broken rib still cries out.
Your silence still speaks louder than a thousand sermons.
Labbaik Ya Zahra SA
