Ramadan is at the door… but are you still carrying last years sins?

If you truly want to meet Ramadan with a clean slate, then ensure you repent correctly:

1) Regret deeply.
Feel the weight of the sin. Let your heart ache sincerely for having displeased Allah. No regret = no repentance.

2) Stop the sin immediately
Repentance is not vaid if you intend to continue doing the sin after Ramadan is over

3) Make a firm resolve.
Promise Allah you will never return to that sin. Even if you fall again later, at this moment your intention must be real and unwavering.

4) Fix what you broke.
If your sin involved someone else — their wealth, their honour, their rights — seek their forgiveness and return what belongs to them.

The Prophet ﷺ said “Every son of Adam is a sinner, but the best of sinners are those who repent often” [Tirmidhi]

When Allah gives, it’s never random.

And it’s never just money.

When you get closer to Allah, your lens changes before your life does.
You start noticing opportunities you used to scroll past.
You stop asking for ease and start building capacity.

Your discipline sharpens.
Your standards rise.
Your excuses quietly fall apart.

That’s how provision actually opens.

Not because the world suddenly becomes generous..
but because you become aligned.
Allah doesn’t pour into a vessel that refuses to expand.

He changes your thinking first.
Your sense of responsibility.
Your willingness to move even when certainty isn’t guaranteed.

That’s why some people make duʿāʾ for years and stay stuck..
while others take aligned action, and doors begin opening in ways they couldn’t have planned.

Tawakkul was never meant to replace effort.
It was meant to sit on top of it.

If you’re praying for more.. more provision, more freedom, more impact..

but still operating with the same mindset, the same systems, the same hesitation…
this is your sign to stop spiritualizing stagnation.

Faith opens doors.
But movement decides which ones you walk through.

Aim higher. Work harder. Don’t use this Deen as an excuse to be lazy. Because this is a poor understanding of this Deen.

Rather set your intentions straight, constantly renew them, and work harder than you’ve ever worked, aim higher than you’ve ever aimed, for this is a true representation of the ummah of Muhammad ﷺ and all the prophets!
