Tajweed Tip of the Day

Today’s focus: The correct pronunciation of “ض” (Daad).
Many students confuse it with “ظ” or “د”, but mastering this letter is essential for accurate Quran recitation.

Remember:
“ض” is a unique sound found only in Arabic.
It is pronounced from the sides of the tongue, pressing against the upper molars.
Practicing daily will make your recitation clear and beautiful.

Challenge: Try reciting Surah Al-Fatiha with proper “ض” today and feel the difference!

Before you close your eyes tonight, remember to recite this beautiful dua taught by our beloved Prophet ﷺ:

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
“O Allah, in Your name I live and die.”
This simple dua brings peace to the heart, protection during sleep, and a reminder of our dependence on Allah even in rest.
