Hazrat Ameer Muhammad Akram Awan (Reh), a great Sufi Sheik, Mufassir e Quraan, MTranslator of Quran, an author, a poet and the Sheikh of Silsala e Tasawuf Naqshbandia Owaisiah. Naqshbandia Owaisiah is a major branch of Naqshbandi which acquires the Prophetic blessings in the manner of Khawajah Owais Qarni (RH), who received this beneficence from the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) General Information

"There is no doubt that Tasawwuf is an important branch of Islam. The word itself may have been derived form the Arabic word "Soof" (Wool) or form "Safa" (cleanliness), but its foundation lies in one’s personal sincerity in seeking Allah’s nearness and trying to live a life pleasing to Him. Study of the Quran, the Hadith, and the practical life of the Holy Prophet-saws and his faithful Companions provide unmistakable support to this reality." (An Objective Appraisal of the Sublime Sufi Path by Shaikh Allah Yar Khan.) IMPORTANCE & SIGNIFICANCE OF
ZIKR-ALLAH (rememberance of Allah):

It is a Hadith that, there is a polish for everything in the world and the polish for our Spiritual heart (Qalb) is Zikr-Allah. It can be done by a number of methods, but the purpose remains the same i.e. Abu Dardaa radiallaahu 'anhu said:"For everything there is a polish and the polish for the heart is the dhikr of Allaah".
