MEMORIAL OF OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP |

One of the most famous marian title of the Blessed Moter believed to be painted by Saint Luke the very famous icon of the blessed mother and the child Jesus.

Today we consecrate and ask Mother Mary to lead us all closer to Jesus and as we invoke her intercession may we all be reminded of her love for us just like a mother to her children.

Every wednesday we attend novenas and masses in her honor as filipino who has deep love to Mary we then be reminded of her loge and care regardless of what we are.

SOLEMNITY OF THE NATIVITY OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST |

This feast, dating from the 4th c. in both East and West, came to be celebrated, in accord with Luke 1:36, six months before the Lord’s birth; quoting John 3:30, Augustine found this date (near summer solstice) appropriate, because after the birth of John, daylight begins to decrease, whereas after Jesus’ birth, it begins to increase.

As we mark the birth of Saint John the Baptist, ponder this birthday from two perspectives. First, look at it from a Heavenly and eternal perspective. The angels and saints will forever glorify God for this great event and for the significant role that John played in the history of salvation. Second, look at it from a purely human perspective. Try to ponder the wonder and awe that would have enfolded Elizabeth and Zechariah. Consider their humanity. They were real people who became real parents and were told great things about their child.
