LIGHTED BY FAITH, UNITED IN CHRIST
Day 1 of our journey was truly filled with faith, learning, and meaningful encounters. The day began with the arrival of participants, followed by the Opening Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Rene C. Rivero, where we offered our prayers and opened our hearts to God’s guidance throughout the camp. After the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, we proceeded to the formation session entitled “Kabataan Liwanag: I am the Katipunan,” which reminded us of our identity and mission as young people called to become instruments of light, hope, and service in our communities.
In the afternoon, we continued to deepen our faith through inspiring sessions. The first session, “Witnessing the Light,” was shared by Sister Angie Vergara, ADC, who encouraged us to become living witnesses of Christ through our words and actions. This was followed by the second session, “Witness Therefore, Missionaries,” led by Ms. April Joy Bainig, which challenged us to courageously share our faith and mission with others. As the day came to an end, we celebrated our unity and friendship during the Solidarity Night, and concluded with a meaningful Eucharistic Adoration, where we spent time in silence, prayer, and reflection in the presence of the Lord.
Day 2 of the camp became a moment of deeper understanding, reflection, and spiritual growth as we participated in the Plenary on the Katipunan Module, where we learned more about our mission, responsibilities, and identity as young Katipuneros called to serve and lead with faith. This was followed by the “Conversation in the Spirit,” a meaningful sharing and listening activity that strengthened our unity, understanding, and relationship with one another and with God. As the camp came to a close, we celebrated the Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Rey Larisma together with Rev. Kelvin Raz Castillo, ending the journey with grateful hearts, renewed faith, and inspiration to continue becoming witnesses of Christ in our communities.
We sincerely thank everyone who generously shared their blessings and helped provide our meals throughout the activity. Your kindness, love, and support made this experience truly meaningful for all of us.
To Ate Lanie Mariano and Mommy Melda Calamba, thank you so much for providing our meals for two days—from breakfast to dinner. Your generosity and care were deeply appreciated by everyone.
To Chanie Del Rosario and Kylie Mañago, thank you for your generosity and for showing your love and support for the youth. Your kindness inspires us greatly.
To Billy Jay Sta. Teresa, thank you for taking the time to drop off and send off our youth safely. Your support and effort mean so much to us.
and to Ma’am Nining Sta Teresa, Ma’am Baby Bernardo, and Ricky Delos Santos, thank you so much.
As the camp concluded, we went home with grateful hearts, strengthened faith, and renewed spirits. May the lessons, friendships, and experiences we shared continue to inspire us to become true witnesses of Christ and instruments of hope, service, and love in our communities.
