"WHEN HOPE WALKS OUT OF THE GRAVE” — everything changes.

This Resurrection Sunday, we came together at Destiny Church Zamboanga to celebrate the victory of Jesus over the grave. What once seemed like the end became a new beginning—where sorrow turned into joy, defeat into victory, and death into everlasting life. The resurrection is our living proof that hope is never lost, because Jesus is alive.

As we also shared in Holy Communion, we were reminded of His sacrifice and unfailing love—the body broken and the blood poured out for us. It was a sacred moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed faith. Truly, when hope walked out of the grave, it didn’t just change history—it changed us.

As we reflect on the Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the depth of His love, sacrifice, and mercy for each one of us. Every word He spoke on the cross carries a powerful message—of forgiveness, compassion, suffering, and victory. From “Father, forgive them” to “It is finished,” these words are not just history, but living truths that speak into our lives today. They call us to forgive as He forgave, to trust God even in pain, and to surrender everything into His hands.

May we not only remember His words but also live them out daily. In every struggle, doubt, and brokenness, we find hope in His sacrifice. Let us draw closer to Him, knowing that His love was proven on the cross. Truly, His final words remind us that our salvation was completed through His obedience and grace. 🙏
