Topic: The Covenant
📖 Genesis 17:7
"I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you."
From the very beginning,
God has always been a God of covenant.
A covenant is not just a promise.
It is a sacred commitment—
a bond built on faithfulness and love.
In the time of Abraham,
God made a covenant of promise.
A promise to bless, to multiply,
and to establish a people for Himself.
In the time of Moses,
God gave a covenant of law.
A way for His people to live,
to walk in obedience,
and to reflect His holiness.
Through every covenant,
God revealed His character—
faithful, just, and full of mercy.
Even when people failed,
God remained true.
But the greatest covenant
was fulfilled in Jesus.
A covenant not written on stone,
but written in our hearts.
A covenant of grace,
forgiveness, and new life.
God’s covenant reminds us
that we are not forgotten.
We are chosen.
We are part of His promise.
And the beautiful thing is this:
God never breaks His covenant.
He is faithful yesterday,
faithful today,
and faithful forever.
So whatever season you are in,
hold on to His promises.
Because the God who made a covenant
is the same God who will keep it. 🤍🙏
