In celebration of the 50th Founding Anniversary of the MCIC Youth Movement, with the support and assistance of the OCENR, we successfully conducted our annual Mangrove Planting Activity at the Mangrove Forest. 🌱🌊

This initiative reflects our commitment to answering the call of nature—protecting our environment, restoring coastal ecosystems, and inspiring the youth to become stewards of creation for future generations.

Together, we plant hope, growth, and a greener tomorrow. đź’š

Rooted in purpose, growing in unity 🌱✨

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the MCIC Youth Movement, we gathered for a meaningful Tree Planting Activity held at the Mangrove Forest in Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City, with the kind assistance of OCENR.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to care for the environment and serve our community. Each mangrove seedling we planted symbolizes hope, resilience, and our responsibility as stewards of God’s creation. More than just planting Mangroves, this activity reminds us that collective action, no matter how simple, it can create a lasting impact.

As we celebrate five decades of faith, service, and unity, we continue to move forward with purpose, nurturing both the earth and the values that bind us together.🤍

Throwback to a meaningful Visita Iglesia with the MCIC Youth Movement—walking together in faith, sharing prayers, and growing deeper in reflection with every church visited. 🙏✨

This Easter season brings back that same spirit of unity and devotion. Holy Week becomes more than a tradition when it is lived as a community—journeying together through sacrifice, reflection, and renewal.

Moments like these remind us that faith is stronger when shared, and that even in silence and prayer, there is a collective strength that carries everyone forward. After every cross, there is always the promise of resurrection. 🌿

Alleluia, He is risen! 🌅✨

Today we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness. The empty tomb is not just a story—it’s a promise fulfilled, a love that never fails, and a reminder that no matter how heavy our burdens or how long our nights, joy comes in the morning.

Alleluia for new beginnings, for grace that renews us, and for a Savior whose love knows no limits. May this Easter fill your heart with peace, your spirit with faith, and your life with the kind of hope that never fades.

Rejoice and be glad—because He lives, we are made new. 💛

Alleluia, now and forever.

Black Saturday — a sacred day of silence and waiting, as the world stands still in reverence for the coming of our Lord. The weight of sorrow lingers, and the echoes of sacrifice remain, calling us into quiet reflection.

In this solemn pause, we remember that even in the darkness of the tomb, God’s promise is not undone. Though all seems still and uncertain, faith teaches us to trust in what is unseen, to believe that life is stirring even in the depths of silence.

Today, we do not rush the moment. We sit with humility, with patience, and with hearts open to the mystery of grace. For this is the time of waiting—the time that prepares us for the glory to come.

As we keep watch in stillness, may our hearts be ready to receive the light of our risen Lord. 🕯️

Good Friday is a solemn reminder of the depth of God’s love—a love that gave everything without asking for anything in return. As we reflect on this sacred day, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and humility. Let us remember that through His sacrifice, we are given grace, mercy, and a renewed chance to walk in faith. Today, we honor Him not only with our words, but with the way we live our lives.

Maundy Thursday reminds us of a love so deep, it chose humility, service, and sacrifice. 🙏✨
On this sacred day, we reflect on the moment Jesus knelt to wash His disciples’ feet—showing us that true greatness is found in serving others with a pure and selfless heart.

In a world that often teaches us to seek recognition, power, and praise, may we instead choose kindness, patience, and compassion. May we learn to forgive even when it’s hard, to love even when it’s inconvenient, and to give even when we feel we have little left.

Lord, on this day, we come before You with humble hearts. Cleanse us from all that weighs us down—our fears, our doubts, our pride. Teach us to follow Your example, to walk in Your light, and to carry Your love into every corner of our lives. Strengthen our faith when we feel weak, and remind us that even in silence and suffering, You are always near.

Help us to be instruments of Your peace—bringing comfort to those who are hurting, hope to those who feel lost, and light to those in darkness. Let our lives reflect Your grace in the smallest acts of love and in the quiet moments of sacrifice.

As we continue this Holy Week journey, may our hearts remain open, our spirits renewed, and our faith unwavering.

“Love one another as I have loved you.” 🤍

Amen.

Hosanna! Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. 🌿✨

Today, we stand among the crowd that once filled the streets of Jerusalem—voices lifted, hearts hopeful, and hands raised with palm branches in praise. We remember Jesus’ triumphant entry, not marked by grandeur or earthly power, but by quiet strength and divine purpose. He came not to conquer kingdoms, but to transform hearts.

Palm Sunday reminds us that faith is not only for moments of celebration, but also for the days that test our strength. The same voices that cried “Hosanna” would soon fall silent, yet His love remained steadfast. In this, we are called to remain faithful—not only in joy, but also in uncertainty, trusting in God’s greater plan.

As we begin this sacred Holy Week, may we walk closely with Him—through the highs and the lows, through sacrifice and surrender, through love that knows no bounds. Let our palms be more than symbols; let them be a reflection of lives rooted in faith, humility, and obedience.

May this day awaken in us a deeper devotion—a reminder to welcome Christ not only in celebration, but in every quiet corner of our lives. May we choose kindness, extend grace, and live with a heart that echoes His love.

Hosanna in the highest! 🌿 May our lives forever proclaim His glory.

From ashes, we remember our fragility.
From ashes, we return to what truly matters.
From ashes, we begin again—marked not by shame, but by grace.

This Ash Wednesday, we are reminded that we are dust, yet deeply loved; broken, yet being restored; human, yet held by a merciful God. The ashes on our foreheads are not symbols of defeat, but of surrender—an invitation to repentance, renewal, and deeper faith.
