Located at Dacon Area, Suterville, Zamboanga City, Philippines, is a sister chapel of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish Church of Southcom Village, Zamboanga City. With an improved structure due to renovations conducted by the Chapel Officers of 2010, headed by Mrs. Buen, this chapel sometimes became the center of the Catholic Faith of the residents of Sutervill

e and Lower Calarian likewise. It's patroness, Our Lady of Fatima, celebrates her feast day every May 13 and conducts mass every 5:45 AM with Rev. Alfredo Alabado, Parish Priest of OLPP, as the main mass presider, his assistants, Rev. Froilan Penuela of OLPP, and sometimes, Rev. Leh Taib of ICAS Calarian.

It has been a yearly tradition of Tolda Cristiana Our Lady of Fatima Suterville-Lower Calarian to visit the sick and elderly people in our community on the celebration of the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

During this home visitation, we offered prayers and handed over some grocery items coming from the proceeds of our Christmas Caroling and 5 kilos of rice courtesy of our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Mercedito Salatan to 12 identified beneficiaries.

As one family, we are delighted to walk in synodality with our parishioners who were deprived from attending mass due to their physical condition and advanced age.

Let us pray:

HOLY FAMILY OF NAZARETH, make our family one with you. Help us to be instruments of peace. Grant that love, strengthened by grace, may prove mightier than all the weaknesses and trials through which our families sometimes pass. Amen

The fourth candle of Advent represents Love, the ultimate love of God that He might send His only Son for us. Called the “Angel's Candle,” the fourth candle of Advent is lit the Sunday before Christmas, and it is the color purple, leading us to eagerly await the new Kingdom of God on earth.

We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Braulio Rojonan and Family for lighting the fourth Advent Candle, the Candle of LOVE.
