Silsilah Dialogue Movement promotes harmony and peace of interfaith communities and focuses on four pillars of Dialogue: God, Self, Others and Creation. “Dialogue starts from God and brings people back to God...”

Guided by this inspiration, Silsilah Dialogue Movement promotes the spirituality of life-in-dialogue with God

, oneself, others and creation – and invites people to live and promote the Culture of Dialogue, Path to Peace, with special emphasis on dialogue of Muslims and Christians, and together, with people of other cultures and faiths. D’Ambra, then newly elected regional superior of the PIME in the Philippines, started meeting regularly with some Muslim and Christian friends in Zamboanga City and formed the "Islamo-Christian Silsilah Dialogue Movement." A few years later the "Islamo-Christian" words were dropped to signify the openness of the movement to all religions, although special attention is given to Muslim and Christian dialogue.

Dear Silsilah Alumni:

Greetings of Dialogue and Peace!

This year, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Silsilah Summer Course on Muslim-Christian Dialogue (1987-2026). At this point, we have listed more than 3,500 alumni; you can see them on the homepage of our website at www.silsilahdialogue.com. We are trying to reach all, although some do not have their email address or other contact details. We invite you to visit our page at https://www.facebook.com/silsilahdialogue.

For this occasion, we will organize 2 major activities:
1. A survey about the impact of the Silsilah Summer Course on the life of the participants, sharing of relevant experiences, and proposing suggestions for the future. We plan to select some experiences that we will compile into a book. We encourage you to write about it.

We also plan to conduct formal research on the Silsilah Summer Course, and one of our group members will visit the Silsilah Forum areas to meet alumni. In this regard, the Silsilah Forum coordinator will provide further details.

2. This year the Summer Course will be on May 3-31.
May 3-34- Basic Course
May 24-31- Special Course

This is a different time in the history of humanity, which has increased conflict and divisions among people of different nations and religions, especially Muslims and Christians. This reminds us to continue the mission of Silsilah and the spirit of the Silsilah Summer Course that helped you at one time in your lives.

March 24, 2026 | Tulay Bata Culminating Activity (SY 2025–2026)
📍 Kapatid Campus (7th Campus)

A meaningful and heartwarming celebration marked the culmination of the Tulay Bata Program at Kapatid Campus, bringing together parents, teachers, and the community in a shared journey of learning and peace.

The program opened with welcoming remarks from Mrs. Jessica J. Caminan, one of the active parents of the school, setting a tone of gratitude and unity.

A heartfelt testimonial sharing was given by Mrs. Mae Ann A. Tubo, expressing appreciation for the positive impact of the program on both parents and children.

We were also honored by the testimonial sharing of our guest speaker Mrs. Fe Lim, Barangay Kagawad of Sinunuc, whose inspiring words encouraged continued support and involvement in children’s education and community building.

The gathering was further enriched by the inspirational message of Ms. Mary Joy Gio, OIC Principal, reminding everyone that nurturing children today builds a stronger and more peaceful tomorrow.

The activity concluded with meaningful closing remarks from Lualhati Judei Rose S. Birondo, Coordinator of Tulay Bata for Dialogue and Peace, encouraging everyone to continue fostering understanding, cooperation, and love within the community.
One of the highlights of the event was the Community Singing led by Maricel J. Pasores, a parent, bringing joy and unity to all present.

With the guidance and support of their adviser Ms. Patricia T. Manajil, the activity became even more successful and meaningful for everyone involved.

Thank you to all parents, teachers, and partners who made this culminating activity a success. Together, we continue building bridges of hope, learning, and peace for our children.
