Thankfulness in Islam holds great value and the highest virtue it is a quality of success in every walk of this life and in the next life. As Muslims, we should always be grateful to our only God, Allah SWT for his blessings. When we breathe it’s a blessing. Our families, houses, work, wealth, health everything has been given to us by the Almighty Allah. We should always make dhikr of Allah SWT to prove how much thankful we are to Him for everything that He has given to us. Allah says:
” If you are grateful, He is pleased with you…” (Az-Zumar 39:7)
“If you are grateful, I will surely give you more and more” (Ibrahim 14:7)
“Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying). I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:152)
Thankfulness in Islam has been categorized into three types:
Thankfulness bil Qalb (heart): This means to be grateful from the core of our hearts and have Iman In our hearts.
Thankfulness bil’ lisan (tongue): This means to be grateful by praising the attributes of Allah SWT from our tongues.
Thankfulness bil jawarih ( limbs): This means to be grateful to Allah SWT through our physical faculties.
Thank you, Allah, for all the blessings great and small
Thank you, Allah, for produced these words
Thank you, Allah, for removing from me grief
Thank you, Allah, for removing from worry
Thank you, Allah, forgiving all facilities
Thank you, Allah, for the calm of spirit
Thank you, Allah, for enriching my life
Thank you, Allah, for my pain-stricken
Thank you, Allah, for a place I can use
Thank you, Allah, for allows me to see
Thank you, Allah, of each passing day
Thank you, Allah, for the air I breathe
Thank you, Allah, for the food I eat
Thank you, Allah, for placing faith
Thank you, Allah, for peace of mind
Thank you, Allah, for never leaving me alone
Thank you, Allah, for grace to see another day
Thankful of the tongue involves the praises of Allah
Thankful to Allah for your comfort and status
Thankful to Allah for your intellectual abilities
Thankful to Allah for everything you possess
Thankful to Allah’s unaccountable blessings
Thankful to Allah for your wealth and health
Thankful to Allah for your peaceful life
Thankful to Allah to attain Tauheed
Thankful to Allah for our creation
Thankful to Allah for His Blessings
Thankful to Allah gives us a blessing
Thankful to Allah to relieve anxiety and stress
Thankful to reflect upon your own life
Thankful is a grateful heart that to Allah
Thankful is a quality of success in this life
Thankful is a quality of success in the Hereafter
Thankful leads to Allah’s pleasure
Thankful for the guidance of Allah
Thankful someone, make sure you mean it
Thanks are full of majesty, bounty, and honour
Thankful given the best in this world and the next
Thanks celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord
Thank you, Allah! Thank you, Allah! Thank you, Allah!
