Day 1 of our Altar Servers Encounter 2026 was a blessed and meaningful day.

The day started with the registration of the altar servers, followed by the Holy Mass where we gathered together in prayer and faith. We also had a Holy Hour, giving us time to pray, reflect, and be closer to God.

“Encountering Myself.” This helped us know ourselves better, understand our strengths and weaknesses, and see how God is guiding us in our lives.

This is only the beginning of our journey. May we continue to grow in faith, love, and service to God.

CALL FOR DONATIONS | HELP OUR YOUTH FAMILIES AFFECTED BY FIRE

We are reaching out to our generous parish community for support for our two youth members and their families who were affected by the fire incident earlier at Purok 6, Villa Sta. Maria.

At this difficult time, any form of assistance can make a meaningful difference. We are humbly accepting donations such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, drinking water, blankets, and other essential items.

Your kindness, generosity, and prayers will help our brothers and sisters begin to rebuild and recover from this unfortunate incident.

Every contribution, no matter how small, is a great act of love. 🤍

For donations and inquiries, please coordinate with the Parish Youth Ministry (PYM).

Let us come together as one family and show our youth that they are not alone. 🙏❤️

A Fiesta Celebrated Beyond the Altar

Today, August 15, 2026, the Our Lady of Purification Parish – Ministry of Knights of the Altar joyfully celebrated the Fiesta of our patron saint, St. Tarcisius, the patron saint of altar servers.

We began this blessed celebration with the Holy Mass, giving thanks to God for the gift of our vocation and for the example of faith, courage, and selfless service shown by St. Tarcisius.

After the Mass, we proceeded to our chosen community for an outreach program, where our altar servers shared a little of what we have and brought smiles and happiness to the children through fun games and activities. ❤️

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to our ministry.Thank you for welcoming us with open hearts and for allowing us to share this special celebration with you. Your smiles, kindness, and joyful presence made our outreach even more meaningful.

For us, celebrating the fiesta of St. Tarcisius is not only about serving at the altar it is also about serving beyond the altar, reaching out to others, sharing our blessings, and becoming instruments of God’s love and joy.

After our outreach, we gathered together for a Boodle Fight, celebrating not only the feast of our patron saint but also the brotherhood, unity, friendship, and fellowship that continue to strengthen our ministry.

This is how we celebrated the Fiesta of our patron saint with faith, service, joy, and brotherhood.May St. Tarcisius continue to inspire us to serve God faithfully and wholeheartedly, both at the altar and beyond it.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Parish Administrator fr. Armand Aquino for the unwavering and all-out support extended to our Ministry. Your guidance, encouragement, and generosity have helped make this celebration meaningful and successful.

Our sincere thanks as well to our Alumni Members for your generous donations and continued support for the Ministry. Your kindness and willingness to give back are truly appreciated.

9TH DAY NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. TARCISIUS 🙏❤️

“From the Altar to the Heart: Deepening Faith, Strengthening Commitment, and Inspiring Lifelong Service.”

Today, August 14, 2026, the Our Lady of Purification Parish – Ministry of Knights of the Altar joyfully gathered for the Ninth and Final Day of the Novena in honor of our beloved patron, St. Tarcisius.

On this final day of our novena, we reflect on the virtue of faithful love and selfless service. ❤️

Throughout these nine days of prayer, we have been reminded that serving at the altar is more than simply fulfilling a duty it is a calling to love Christ, to serve His Church, and to give ourselves generously for others.

Like St. Tarcisius, may we learn to love Christ with a sincere and courageous heart. May we remain faithful even when service becomes difficult, and may we always be willing to sacrifice our time, strength, and comfort for the sake of God and His people.

As altar servers, may the lessons of this novena continue to guide us in our daily lives. May our service at the altar inspire us to become more prayerful, disciplined, respectful, responsible, and compassionate. May we carry what we have learned from the altar into our homes, our schools, our communities, and wherever God calls us to serve.

As we conclude this novena and prepare to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Tarcisius tomorrow, may our hearts be filled with gratitude for the gift of our ministry and for the opportunity to serve Christ.

May St. Tarcisius continue to inspire every altar server to remain faithful, humble, courageous, and devoted. May we never forget that true greatness is found not in being recognized, but in loving and serving Christ wholeheartedly.

Tomorrow, we celebrate not only the feast of our patron, but also the beautiful vocation of serving from the altar to the heart. May our commitment to Christ continue far beyond the altar and become a lifelong journey of faith and service.

Today, August 13, 2026, the Our Lady of Purification Parish – Ministry of Knights of the Altar joyfully gathered for the Eighth Day of the Novena in honor of our beloved patron, St. Tarcisius.

On this eighth day, we reflect on the virtue of humble obedience. Like St. Tarcisius, may we learn to faithfully follow God’s will, even when it requires sacrifice, patience, and courage. May we serve not only when it is easy, but also when we are called to give more of ourselves for Christ and for others.

As altar servers, may our obedience to God be reflected in the way we serve at the altar, respect our leaders, listen to our parents and formators, and faithfully carry out our responsibilities in the ministry. May we always remember that true service begins with a humble and willing heart.

May St. Tarcisius teach us that greatness in God’s eyes is not measured by position or recognition, but by our willingness to obey, to sacrifice, and to remain faithful to Christ.

As we draw closer to the Feast Day of our patron, may our hearts be renewed with deeper faith, stronger commitment, and a greater desire to serve God and His people.
