April 5 | Easter Sunday

He is Risen! โœจ

Today, we celebrate the victory of hope over despair, light over darkness, and life over death. Easter reminds us that no matter how heavy the past may feel, there is always a promise of new beginnings through Christ.

Let us rejoice, for we are saved, we are loved, and we are made new through Him. May we carry this truth in our heartsโ€”not just today, but every day. ๐Ÿค

April 4 | Black Saturday

April 4, 2026, is the day of Holy Saturday. Holy Saturday is the seventh day of Holy Week, a Christian observance that falls after Good Friday each year and before Easter Sunday. It commemorates Jesus Christ lying in his tomb after the crucifixion the day before.

The Blessed Sacrament is not given forth yet as the Church descends into a deep quiet. The disciples' experience of loss and longing following Christ's death is reflected in this intentional absence. The Church's ancient and greatest liturgy, the Easter Vigil, beginning in darkness and leading into the light of Christโ€™s Resurrection.

April 3 | Good Friday

โ€œFor Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.โ€ โ€” 1 Peter 3:18

On this Good Friday, we remember the depth of Jesus Christโ€™s loveโ€”a love that embraced suffering and chose sacrifice for the sake of humanity. His death on the cross is not just a story of pain, but a powerful testament of grace, mercy, and redemption for us all. As we reflect today, may we open our hearts to His message of forgiveness and compassion, strive to live with faith and humility, and carry our own crosses with courage, trusting in Godโ€™s greater plan. โœ๏ธ

April 2 | Maundy Thursday

โ€œA new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.โ€ โ€’John 13:34

On this sacred Maundy Thursday, we remember the night Jesus gathered with His disciples for the Last Supper, where He broke the bread and shared the cup, giving us the gift of the Eucharist and a love that would remain forever. In kneeling to wash the feet of His disciples, He showed that true greatness is found in humility and service.
Even in the shadow of betrayal and the agony in Gethsemane, His love for us did not waver. As we enter the Paschal Triduumโ€”the last three days and services before the celebration of Easterโ€”may we embrace His new commandment to love one another, living out a faith rooted in self-giving love and faithful devotion. May we learn to serve as He served and love as He loved.

March 29 | Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday reminds us to welcome Jesus into our hearts with humility, joy, and praise as we begin the journey toward Easter. ๐ŸŒฟ

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, reminding us of Jesusโ€™ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the joyful shouts of โ€œHosanna!โ€ from the people who welcomed Him with hope and praise. Today reminds us to consider humility, faith, and what constitutes a real victory, not through power or fame, but rather through love, kindness and selflessness. As we sit here holding our palms in our hands and thinking of this very moment, let us also spend some time welcoming Him into our hearts with openness and thankfulness.

As individuals facing many everyday struggles, we should think back to Palm Sunday as an opportunity to slow down and consider our actions, faith and how we treat other people. May this holiday season motivate us to be more patient, understanding and compassionate towards one another, both when we are faced with major situations, as well as with the small, every day decisions we make.

March 22 | 5th Sunday of Lent

Lent invites us into a deeper kind of surrender. A surrender not just of our actions, but of our worries, our fears, and the things we try so hard to control. As we enter the 5th Sunday of Lent, we are gently reminded that God is always workingโ€”even in the quiet, even in the waiting. In seasons where answers seem distant and the path feels uncertain, His grace continues to move, unseen yet powerful, shaping our hearts in ways we may not yet understand.

This season calls us to deeper reflection, surrender, and trust. To let go of what holds us back and open our hearts to the transformation God desires within us. Just as He promised, โ€œSee, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?โ€ (Isaiah 43:19)

May we walk this Lenten journey with faith, allowing His love to shape us, His mercy to renew us, and His presence to lead us closer to Him.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿค

March 15 | Laetare Sunday

Laetare Sunday takes its name from the Latin word Laetare, meaning "rejoice," and opening the tradition oral Introit for the Mass: "Laetare Jerusalem" ("Rejoice, O Jerusalem") from Isaiah 66:10. It is observed by Roman Catholic, Lutheran, and Anglican churches as a moment of celebration within the otherwise e solemn season of Lent.

In the midst of the penitential season, Laetare Sunday, the fourth Sunday of Lent, is a day of joy and hope marked by rose-colored vestments and a temporary relief of Lenten austerities.

A break in the Lenten journey where we celebrate God's compassion and mercy, rejoice, and hope begins. Celebrate, for the light is approaching.๐Ÿค๐Ÿƒ

REFLECT | SUNDAY BIBLE VERSES

John 4:14: "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life"

In this verse, Jesus speaks about the โ€œwaterโ€ He offers that comes from having a relationship with Him. Just like water is essential for life, our faith and connection with God is essential for nourishing our hearts and strengthening us through challenges. In this, the โ€œspring of waterโ€ can be seen as the goodness that flows from a personโ€™s faith and how we spread it to others. Through this, we are reminded that instead of searching for temporary satisfaction, we should turn to God, who offers a lasting source of life and fulfillment, leading us all toward the promise of eternal life, and that the path toward eternal life is not only about personal belief, but also about how we share compassion and kindness with those around us.

March 8 | 3rd Sunday of Lent

As we reflect on the Lent, the 3rd Sunday of Lent reminds us of Jesus offering the โ€œliving waterโ€ that truly satisfies the thirst of our souls (John 4:5โ€“42). Just as He spoke to the Samaritan woman, He invites us to come to Him with open hearts and be renewed by His grace.

May this season lead us to deeper faith, reflection, and conversion as we continue our Lenten journey. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

March 1 | 2nd Sunday of Lent

As we celebrate the 2nd Sunday of Lent, we are reminded of the moment Jesus revealed His glory to His disciplesโ€”a glimpse of hope and light before the trials ahead. In this sacred season, we are invited to pause, reflect, and allow God to transform our hearts just as He did on the mountain.

Lent is not only about sacrifice, but about renewal. It is a journey of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that draws us closer to Him and strengthens our faith. May this Sunday inspire us to listen more deeply to Godโ€™s voice, trust in His promises, and continue walking faithfully even when the path is challenging.

Let us keep choosing growth, grace, and gratitude as we move forward in our Lenten journey. ๐Ÿ’œ

REFLECT | SUNDAY BIBLE VERSES

John 13:34: โ€œA new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.โ€

This verse reminds us to love one another and each other with the same unconditional, sacrificial, and selfless love that Jesus has demonstrated. As Jesus says this command to His disciples, He tells them that He wants them to not simply show love but to love each other with the same love He has shown them. It is important in a present world of chaos and conflict that we learn and show the same love that Jesus exemplifies for one another. Jesus has set the example and standard on how we should love, and He wants us to follow that.

To not only simply love one another but to give love the same way that Jesus has always givenโ€”selfless, compassionate, and unconditional.
