IN PHOTOS: Highlights from the celebration of the Community Mass in honor of the memorial of St. Isidore the Farmer at BEC San Isidro Labrador Chapel.
Together with our farmers and the people of San Isidro, the Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev. Fr. Marciano Villagracia, our former parish priest and currently the parish priest of San Roque.
St. Isidore, or San Isidro, is known as the patron saint of farmers and laborers. Let us offer our prayers for our farmers and laborers.
We pray for all farmers, laborers, and gardeners who grow food for their families and for the community. We pray for favorable weather conditions that will provide optimum growing seasons and an end to all droughts.
We pray and work for fair wages for all, especially farm laborers. We pray and work to plant and cultivate seeds of education, equality, kindness, fairness, compassion, spirituality, community, care of the sick and poor, generosity, and care of our home, Earth. Amen.
Happy fiesta, BEC San Isidro Labrador!
