A simple gathering, yet a meaningful beginning.

Today, April 25, 2026, the liturgical ministers of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Mission Church, Pagsangahan, San Miguel came together for a Basic Liturgical Orientation Seminar. Deepening not only their knowledge of the liturgical celebration but more importantly their understanding of the sacred service entrusted to them.

May this formation remind us that in every ministry, we do not simply perform roles but we serve Christ and His Church with reverence and humility.

A grace-filled day at Holy Innocence Parish as 60 liturgical ministers gathered for a Basic Liturgical Orientation Seminar today, April 18, 2026.

More than learning roles, it was a moment of formation. Renewing hearts, deepening understanding and strengthening our commitment to serve the liturgy with reverence, unity, and love.

Not just ministers in function but ministers formed in spirit.

A sacred gathering of priests and faithful, united around the bishop, as the oils are blessed and consecrated. Signs of Christ’s healing, strength and mission in the Church.

Last April 2 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish, we were reminded that our priesthood and our lives are renewed in Him who calls, consecrates and sends.

With joy and gratitude, the faithful are invited to the celebration of the 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 (𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬), where the holy oils will be blessed and the priests will renew their vows. This special Mass reminds us of the unity of the Church and the gift of the priesthood.

The celebration will be presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Luisito A. Occiano, D.D., Bishop of Virac, on April 2, 2026 (Maundy Thursday), at 8:00 in the morning, at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Virac, Catanduanes.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒

Yesterday, March 31 at the Cathedral Parish, ministers and clergy gathered for the liturgical catechesis in preparation for the Chrism Mass.

More than a rehearsal, the session became a moment of formation. An opportunity to reflect on the meaning behind every gesture, prayer and symbol. Before stepping into the liturgical practice, participants were invited to rediscover the theology of the celebration. The unity of the presbyterium with the bishop, the sacredness of the oils and the renewal of priestly commitment.

In understanding the why behind the what, the community is better prepared not only to perform the rites, but to truly celebrate them with reverence and faith.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒

From Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday, the Word of God leads us into the heart of the Lord’s Passion revealing love that is faithful, suffering that is redemptive and a call to deeper conversion.

May these sacred readings prepare our hearts to walk with Christ more closely in these holy days.
