Jesus taught that the greatest commandments are to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, and He said that anyone who understands this is close to the Kingdom of God.

Jesus teaches that the greatest commandments are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. When people truly live by this love, many evils such as hatred, injustice, and harm to others would disappear because love guides our actions. Therefore, true faith is not only about religious practices, but about showing genuine love for God through compassion, care, and kindness toward others.

🙏🏻 Prayer:

Lord God, we love You with all our hearts, minds, and souls. We ask You to give us the strength and will to continue loving our neighbors as ourselves, despite all the persecution, hatred, jealousy, and malice that we receive from them daily. May we not seek revenge because we place all these burdens unto Your able hands. Amen.

📖 Gospel
(Luke 11:14-23)

When Jesus drove out a demon and healed a man who could not speak, He explained that He did it by God’s power, and taught that those who are not with Him are against Him, and that the Kingdom of God has already come.

🤲🏻 Reflection:

Jesus shows His divine authority by casting out a demon and teaches that His power comes from God, proving that the Kingdom of God is already present. He warns that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, and calls people to choose whether they will stand with Him or against Him. This passage reminds us to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, resist evil, and work for unity, justice, and love in our lives.

Lord, I surrender my life into Your hands without holding back. I beg You to strengthen me in times of temptation and to keep me free from sin. Amen.

(Matthew 5:17-19)

Jesus said that he did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it, and that those who obey God’s commandments and teach others to do the same will be great in the Kingdom of heaven.

🤲🏻 Reflection:

Jesus teaches that He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets, but to fulfill them by revealing their true meaning and purpose. He calls His followers to a deeper righteousness that goes beyond external obedience and transforms the heart. Therefore, those who truly love God and their neighbors and faithfully live and teach God’s commandments will share in the Kingdom of Heaven.

🙏🏻 Prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, give us the passion to obey Your commandments and teach them to others. Help us to continually become the Salt and the Light of the World, so that our actions and deeds may become good examples that glorify the Name of our Lord. Amen.

(Matthew 18:21-35)

Jesus taught that we must forgive others again and again, like the merciful king who forgave a great debt, because those who receive mercy from God must also show mercy to others.

🤲🏻 Reflection:

Jesus teaches that forgiveness is an essential part of the Christian life and that we must forgive others without limits, just as God has shown great mercy to us. When we truly receive God’s forgiveness, it should change our hearts so that we also become more compassionate and ready to forgive those who wrong us. By practicing sincere forgiveness every day, we love, serve, and glorify God and help bring healing and peace to our relationships.

🙏🏻 Prayer:

Dear Lord, give me the grace to acknowledge my sins. Grant me mercy in life and help me to become righteous, merciful, and forgiving toward others without holding back any misgivings. Amen.
