DESIGNED TO CONQUER
God never created us to live in defeat or to easily give up whenever trials come into our lives. We are designed by Him to become conquerors, overcomers, and victorious people through Christ Jesus. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, and His compassion never fails. Every morning is a new reminder of His faithfulness, grace, and mercy upon our lives. No matter how painful or difficult our situation may be, God continuously renews our strength and gives us hope to keep moving forward.
Life will always have battles, struggles, and seasons of hardship, but the question is: how will we respond during difficult times? Instead of giving up, we are encouraged to continue doing the things God wants us to do even when attacks and discouragements surround us. Challenges are not meant to destroy us but to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to God. Sometimes, God allows battles because they train us to become more like Him and help us grow spiritually. Though delays may happen in life, God’s promises are never delayed because His timing is always perfect.
Romans 8:37-39 declares that we are “more than conquerors” through Christ who loves us. Even before the battles come, God has already designed us for victory. Our Christian journey is not about living a comfortable life but about stepping out of our comfort zone and trusting God completely. Nothing in this world — neither fear, pain, problems, nor circumstances — can ever separate us from the love of God. Through every season, whether good or bad, God remains faithful and victorious, even when we sometimes forget who we are in Him.
2 Corinthians 2:14 reminds us to always give thanks to God because He leads us in triumph through Christ. God never sleeps nor slumbers; He continually watches over His people. That is why we must guard our minds and hearts by focusing on the things that are true, noble, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy according to Philippians 4:8. When we fix our eyes on God instead of our problems, we will have peace, courage, and strength to overcome every battle we face.
Lastly, we must hold firmly to the promises of God. Isaiah 54:17 says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, while Deuteronomy 28:13 reminds us that God will make us the head and not the tail when we obey Him. No matter how strong the storm may be, victory belongs to the Lord. We are not designed to stay broken, fearful, or defeated. We are designed by God to conquer through faith, obedience, and complete trust in Him.
Soli Deo Gloria! 🙌🏻☝🏻
