Everyone experiences offenses. We all get hurt, disappointed, and offended at some point in life. Even David faced betrayal, rejection, and pain, yet he chose to run to God instead of letting bitterness consume him.
We need to learn how to handle offenses properly. Not every irritation needs to be announced. Sometimes, silence, prayer, and grace speak louder than anger.
Many people have become victims of offenses, but we donโt have to stay wounded forever.
But hereโs the beautiful part:
We are not only capable of being overwhelmed by pain, we can also be overwhelmed by the goodness of God.
OVERWHELMED WITH JOY
There is a kind of joy that does not depend on circumstances. Even in difficult seasons, God can fill our hearts with peace and gladness that the world cannot explain. Joy gives strength when we feel weak, hope when we feel discouraged, and light when life feels heavy. Your current situation is not the end of your story. Better days are coming, and God is still working behind the scenes.
OVERWHELMED WITH LOVE
Godโs love has the power to heal wounded hearts. When we truly experience His love, we begin to forgive more, understand more, and love people despite imperfections. His love reminds us that we are seen, valued, and never alone. The same heart that was once overwhelmed by hurt can become overwhelmed by grace, compassion, and kindness.
Maybe today you feel tired, offended, or emotionally drained. Instead of being overwhelmed by offense, choose to be overwhelmed by Godโs presence. ๐
