𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟒 | 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲

As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we give thanks for the powerful gift of the Holy Spirit who descended upon the disciples fifty days after the Resurrection of Jesus, turning confusion into clarity and fear into bold mission, and marking the birth of the Church. According to Scripture in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1–4), the Spirit came like a mighty wind and tongues of fire rested upon the apostles, enabling them to speak in different languages and proclaim the Gospel to all nations. The same Spirit who filled the apostles continues to bring life, unity, and renewal to the Church today, guiding believers in their daily walk with God. May we remain open to His presence, attentive to His voice, and strengthened to carry out His mission of love and peace with courage and joy.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬, 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐞!

Another year of serving the Church with wisdom, compassion, humility, and lowkey unmatched apostolic aura. The Church really said: “drop the most wholesome and iconic bishop” 😌✨

And suddenly the Diocese was blessed with Bishop Junie.

Thank you for faithfully shepherding the Church with love and compassion and for reminding us that faith is not just for Sundays but also for students with deadlines, people who are tired, and souls still trying their best to hold on to God. It’s giving, "shepherd after God’s own heart " (King David yarn?)🕊️✨

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, we are reminded that Christ’s return to the Father is not an ending, but an invitation for us to live with hope, faith, and purpose. The Ascension reminds us that heaven is not far from us, but our true home in Christ. As Jesus ascended in glory, He entrusted His disciples with the mission to proclaim His love to the world and promised the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide them. May we continue to look upward in faith while living faithfully here on earth, carrying His message of peace, mercy, and salvation, and remaining steadfast witnesses of His truth and everlasting promise.

𝐋𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲

La Resurreccion Parish celebrated a meaningful Mother’s Day and Flores de Maria activity, beginning with the 4:00 PM Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Larry Ramos, May 10.

Following the Mass, the parish community gathered for Harana kay Maria, a musical tribute offered in honor of the Blessed Mother. Various choirs and ministries participated in the event, including the Munting Tinig ni San Roque Children’s Choir, Oratorian Voices, Ushers and Collectors Ministry (UCM), La Resurreccion Parish Youth Commission (LRPYC), Lingkod ng Dambana (LND), Missionary Family of Christ, St. Joseph Choir, St. Cecilia Choir, El Shaddai Choir, Hermano at Hermana sa Bulaklak, Hermano at Hermana, and Mga Letra, together with Rosa Mística 2026, Ms. Jeriel Paulyn Laraño Herradura.

The serenade was followed by the Alay ng Bulaklak, where families and devotees offered flowers to Mary as a gesture of love and devotion.

The evening concluded with the Sagala ng mga Nanay, a special Marian procession honoring mothers on their special day, highlighting both their role in the family and their devotion to the Blessed Mother.

A heartfelt recognition was given last Sunday to the two outgoing Lingkod ng Dambana officers, Justine Bautista and Josueh Oruga, during the 9:00 AM Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Lary Ramos, May 10

Their dedication and service to the ministry were honored as they officially passed their responsibilities to the newly elected set of officers. Diego Francisco was appointed as the new LND President, while Prince Ervas and Shan Tristan Santor will serve as the new Vice Presidents.

May the outgoing officers continue to inspire through their service, and may the new leaders guide the ministry with faith, humility, and commitment.

Guided by this year’s theme, “STREAM,” Social Communications Ministry members from different parishes across the Diocese gather on Saturday, May 9, at the Cathedral Parish of St. Paul the First Hermit and Liceo de San Pablo in San Pablo City, Laguna, for the Diocesan SOCCOM Assembly, which begins at 7:00 a.m. with the celebration of the Holy Mass followed by a plenary talk led by Most Rev. Socrates Buenaventura Villegas, O.P., Metropolitan Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan.

The assembly highlights discussions on media apostolate and digital evangelization, social media and digital management, mobile and liturgical photography and videography, liturgical production and technicals, graphic design and visual creativity, as well as film and storytelling through various breakout sessions. One of the featured sessions emphasizes how mobile phones serve not only as tools for communication but also as instruments of storytelling, ministry, and evangelization, while reminding participants of the importance of proper documentation, reverence during liturgical celebrations, and responsible media practice.

The event also includes the Sancti Pauli Awards, which recognize parishes, individuals, and parish pages for their efforts in spreading the Word of God through digital platforms, before concluding with the renewal of vows of SOCCOM members led and blessed by Most Rev. Marcelino Antonio “Junie” Maralit Jr., D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of San Pablo.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Flores de Maria 2026, buong puso po naming inaanyayahan ang lahat ng mananampalataya at deboto na makiisa sa isang gabi ng papuri at panalangin para sa ating Mahal na Ina.

Halina’t saksihan at makibahagi sa “Harana Kay Maria 2026”, isang natatanging pag-aalay ng mga awit, dasal, at pagninilay bilang tanda ng ating pagmamahal at debosyon sa Birheng Maria.
