As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we give thanks for the powerful gift of the Holy Spirit who descended upon the disciples fifty days after the Resurrection of Jesus, turning confusion into clarity and fear into bold mission, and marking the birth of the Church. According to Scripture in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:1โ4), the Spirit came like a mighty wind and tongues of fire rested upon the apostles, enabling them to speak in different languages and proclaim the Gospel to all nations. The same Spirit who filled the apostles continues to bring life, unity, and renewal to the Church today, guiding believers in their daily walk with God. May we remain open to His presence, attentive to His voice, and strengthened to carry out His mission of love and peace with courage and joy.
