YE DISTRICT FELLOWSHIP: Heart Match @ COG Mancaeg

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”.

“LET MY PEOPLE GO”

Exodus 5:1
Later, Moses and Aaron went in and said to Pharaoh, This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, say: Let my people go, so that they may hold festival for me in the wilderness.

“Every generation has its Pharaoh, but only one Captan can truly set us free.”

A captor spirit is anything that claims ownership over what God already owns.

The Captor Spirit now:
• The Spirit of Debt.
• The Spirit of Sin.
• The Spirit of Identity.
• The Spirit of Religion.

The Caption:
• The Authority behind the Word.
• The Purpose of Freedom.
• The Command of Free.

When God becomes your Captain:
• Your Time finds Direction.
• Your Strength finds Meaning.
• Your Sacrifice finds rewards.

“What controls your obedience becomes your Pharaoh–but Jesus alone is the Captain who sets you free.”

See you next Sunday, Kapatid!

Want to be strong when life gets tough? Hold on to hope that's anchored in God!

Week 4
“Hold Onto Hope” – Confidence in God’s Promises for the Future

Key Scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 15:13, Hebrews 6:19

What’s Coming: Uncertainty about the future.

What to Hold: Hope anchored in God’s promises.

Core Message:
Hope is not wishful thinking—it is confidence in a faithful God. In 2026, hope will keep youth moving forward.

When the road ahead feels long, let God’s promises be your fuel. Hope doesn't just look at the finish line—it gives you the strength to take the next step today. See you tomorrow, guyss!!

Exodus 4:1-5

Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?”
2 Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?”
“A staff,” he replied.
3 The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.”
Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. 4 Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. 5 “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

Moses’ three excuses:
1. “They will not believe me.”
2. “I am slow of speech.”
3. “Send someone else.”

God does not call the qualified — He qualifies the called.

See you next Sunday!

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. "
- African Proverb

God's PRESENCE:
- Comes before God's plan.
- Is God's answer to insecurity.
- Compensates for what we lack.
- Is what makes progress worth.

Exodus 3:11-12
But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.

"God's presence is God's power made personal."
- Tony Evans

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

"God does not wait for you to be confident before He calls you, He walks with you until confidence is formed."
- Dhanus Daniels

Exodus 4:11-12
The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

"God is more interested in your dependence than your competence."
- Rick Warren

Exodus 5:1
Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’"

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Exodus 33:14-16
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

Moses Learning:
- Deliverance without presence is empty.
- Movement without God is meaningless.
- Progress without God is not success.

God doesn't Call the Qualified, He Qualifies the Called.
