đź“– Gospel Reading
The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
When they saw Him, they worshiped, though some still doubted. Then Jesus came near and said:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to keep all that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, until the end of time.”(Matthew 28:16–20)
✨ Reflection: (Ascension of the Lord) - Christ’s Authority – His power over heaven and earth assures us that our mission is guided by His strength, not our own.
✝️Mission of Disciples – The command to “make disciples of all nations” is a call for every believer to share the Good News in family, community, and society.
✝️Sacrament of Baptism – Baptism in the name of the Trinity makes us part of God’s family and strengthens us for mission.
✝️Presence of Christ – His promise “I am with you always” gives courage in times of doubt, struggle, and uncertainty.
🙏 Prayer :Lord Jesus, in your Ascension you returned to the Father but entrusted us with your mission. Give us courage to live with faith, to serve with compassion, and to proclaim your love to all nations. May we always feel your presence guiding us until the end of time. Amen.
