Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is an update regarding our ongoing efforts to help the Wesleyan churches and communities deeply affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao.
Through the leadership and mobilization of the EC through our General Superintendent Rev. Amos Anteg, a โฑ25,000 was released to buy bottled waters and other needs for all victims.
Currently, a total of $7,860 was pledged by our international partners, and more cash donations is being deposited in our bank accounts to fund the rebuilding of our churches that has been damaged.
Furthermore, we are grateful to report that additional solicitations and contributions have just arrived today, expanding our capacity to help those churches.
To ensure these funds are deployed effectively, we are urgently requesting that all donations from our local churches be gathered and forwarded as soon as possible.
Having all regional and local contributions centralized will allow us to make a proper, strategic, and equitable allocation based on the specific damages and needs of each affected church. Your prompt action will directly impact how quickly we can extend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters who are rebuilding their lives and places of worship.
Thank you for your unwavering generosity, your immediate cooperation, and your continued prayer.
