“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6–7)

What does this mean?

Instead of worrying, pray.
instead of being troubled, come to God.
Bring everything to Him, your thoughts, your burdens, your fears. Because the very things that cause you anxiety are the same things you should pray about. And as you pray, God is already at work.

That is why worry is replaced with peace, not because the problem disappears immediately, but because God has responded, and His peace now guards your heart and mind.
