Word of Hope Veinte Reales MISSION AND VISION: Win Souls. Make Disciples of Jesus. OUR PURPOSE: TO GIVE GLORY TO GOD

Isaiah 43:7 tells us that God created us for His glory. (Acts 1:8)

MISSION AND VISION
"To spread the Good News of Salvation and the truths of the Bible, and bring lost souls to the Lord Jesus Christ --- the Giver of Hope." OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our church was established to give honor and glory to God; to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ; to build up men and women for the ministry and the proclamation of the full gospel message in the power of the Holy S

pirit. Therefore in all that we are and in all that we do, we must individually and corporately bring glory to our Creator (Eph. 1:5-6). OUR GOAL: TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

A disciple is one who lives as His master lives. For us it is a learner - follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, one who is not just a hearer but a doer of His word. Before Jesus was taken up into heaven his parting words to His disciples were "Therefor go and MAKE DISCIPLES of all nations..." Such is our mission. We will not stop at touching and reaching people but rather we aim to make disciples who will then disciple others. We will not stop at reaching our city but from here we will actively participate in the universal effort to spread His kingdom to the whole world. By nations, we do not just mean geographical or political groupings but to distinct people groups that are yet unreached. ONE MESSAGE: THE FULL GOSPEL OF HIS KINGDOM

the only way we can achieve our goal is through the life-changing power of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. "For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God" (1 Cor. 1:18). The word Full Gospel implies a wholistic view of salvation. It means that we are not just delivered from the penalty of sin but that we can also enjoy the benefits of Christ's work (healing, abundant life and deliverance) at the present time. OUR METHOD: DECLARATION AND DEMONSTRATION IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words but with the demonstration of the Spirit's power so that your faith may not rest on men's wisdom but on God's power," Paul says in 1 Cor. 2:4-5. Empty words will not win the world, neither will it make disciples. Jesus Himself said, " Unless your people see miraculous signs and wonders, you will never believe (John 4:48) but He also said, " I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father". (John 14:12)

Jesus accomplished the task He began for us by living His life before men. Paul exhorts us in 1 Cor. 13:1-3, "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I posses to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love I gain nothing. ONE MINISTRY:

We are fellow workers with Jesus Christ our Lord. In Acts 1:1, St. Luke says, "I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach..." Now we must continue that work. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you! And you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth".

Gratitude changes the way we see what we already have. Instead of always asking God for more, let’s pause and simply thank Him for His goodness, His faithfulness, and His presence.

Even in ordinary moments, there is always something to be grateful for. Thank God—not only for what He gives, but simply for who He is. 🤍

Today, let your prayer begin with “Thank You, Lord.”

True friendship is not always about having the right words. Sometimes, it’s simply about being there when words are not enough.

Job’s friends entered into his grief. Their presence reminded him that he did not have to suffer alone.

Show up. Sit with them. Pray with them. Let them know they are not alone. 🤍

Sometimes we limit God by what we can see, understand, or imagine. But God is not limited by our circumstances or our expectations. 🙏

Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that He is able to do far more abundantly than anything we could ask or think. What feels impossible to you is still within His power.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. God is working in ways you may not see yet.

Don’t put a limit on what God can do. His power is greater than your biggest prayer.

Real friendship isn’t only about celebrating your victories. It’s about carrying the weight with you when life gets heavy. 🤍

God often uses the people around us to remind us that we don’t have to face every burden alone. A true friend listens, prays, encourages, and stays—not because they have all the answers, but because they choose to be present.

And when the burden feels too heavy, remember: you can always bring it to God. He is the One who carries what we cannot.

Be the friend who shows up. Be the friend who stays. Be the friend who points others back to Jesus.

Sin can offer temporary pleasure, but it can never satisfy the soul the way God does. What looks appealing in the moment can slowly pull our hearts away from His presence.

Today, choose what draws you closer to God. His goodness is greater than anything sin could ever promise. 🙏

Let His Word guide your desires, strengthen your heart, and remind you that true joy is found in Him—not in temporary pleasures.

Choose God over temptation. Choose what leads to life.

Not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay, but some are sent by God to stand with you through every storm. 🤍

True friendship isn’t only about celebrating the good moments. It’s about showing up when things get hard, praying when you have no words, and reminding each other that God is still faithful.

Be the friend who stays. Be the friend who points others back to Jesus.

Sometimes, surrender doesn’t mean giving up on what God placed in your heart. It means releasing your need to control how and when it will happen. 🙏

God may have planted the desire, but He may lead you through a path you never expected. Trust that His plan is greater than the picture you have in your mind.

Surrender the timeline. Surrender the outcome. Keep trusting the One who knows the way.

What God has for you will never require you to force His plan.
